Results Advice Needed Please
Hiya! I'd be most grateful if the wise owls of this forum can shed some light on my results, especially the vitamin tests. I am pretty much constantly symptomatic even though my thyroid results seem pretty optimal for NDT use. I also have early onset menopausal osteoporosis, which is being managed.

Endo , just called me with blood results
So after disappointing first Endo appointment with a very proud of herself Diabetes specialist I was quite shocked to get a phone call minutes ago , just before 5 on a Friday from aforementioned Endo. To tell me my results, and was some Ok bits and some not so OK. She called she said as my vit D

Suppressed TSH and getting optimum on NDT
I'm being treated by a private thyroid Dr for hypothyroid, I'm on NDT Armour and I've been slowly titrating for 12 months from zero treatment. I couldn't get treatment on the NHS. My latest results show TSH at 0.01. My T4 and T3 are the highest they've ever been and I feel much better than I did last

Thyroid impact on menstrual cycle
Does anyone know if/how the thyroid impacts the menstrual cycle, eg cycle length (shortened vs lengthened) and flow (heavy vs lighter) depending on your thyroid function status (eg hyper versus hypo)? Are there any research papers on this? I know TSH <2.5 is preference for conception. Just wondering

Advice re blood results and symptoms
Hello, I've been following this forum for a while and this is my first time posting - I'm hoping for some reassurance and guidance. I've provided background information (including blood results from earlier in the year) in my Bio which should explain where I am up to (I hope I've included everything!

high TSH and high T4
hi, I’d be grateful for your thoughts on this one. I’ve recently had two blood tests, one on 11th April with a TSH of 8 (abnormal) but T4 of 22 (so still just normal but top of the range). Then another blood test 28th June also with higher TSH of 11 and T4 high but normal at 21. I’ve had Hashimotos

TSH fallen
My gp has just marked my results as 'normal for this patient' but I can see that my TSH has fallen from TSH 1.38 munit/L in Sept 2023 to TSH - 0.30 munit/L June 2024 ST T4 was 9.2 pmol/L in Sept 2023 and now SF T4 -11.90 pmol/L June 2024 should I be concerned about the fall in TSH?

Carbimazole and cramps update
Hi Everyone, I have been on a roller coaster since my last post, hence my relative silence. My mother was seriously ill, I was asked to sign a DNR, then my mother recovered, now I am able to focus on my own issues. Since my last post about my severe cramps, they seem to have subsided since introducing

About to start IV Methylprednisone 500mg
Finally, after 9 months, they have diagnosed me with TED, after discounting Myasthenia Gravis, amongst many other things. I am Euthyroid, so my TSH, T4, T3 are in normal range, though my Thyroid Receptor Antibody blood test came back positive (though not that high 2.6). My MRI also implied TED. About

Thyroid results
Hello everyone, I've been struggling quite a bit lately with symptoms that seemed consistent with thyroid issues, including difficulty to conceive (had a failed IVF last year after many years of trying to have a baby). I had the tests done and I got a copy of my results, and I was wondering if someone

Erfa thyroid blood results confusion
Hi I've been on erfa for a few years now. I am on 3.5 grains. My bloods show up as being under replaced high TSH but when I try to increase my dose I get all the symptoms of being hyperthyroid. Can anyone help me to understand what's going on please? I'm considering switching to a combo of levo and erfa

Research on TSH levels to show doctor
Hello, Apologies for this question, as I know it's one that has been posted before by others (I haven't figured out how to 'save' posts yet!). I'm trying to find research to show to my GP (in the UK) regarding TSH levels. My understanding is that 'healthy' individuals would have a TSH of around 1

Low AMH Success Stories
I’m hoping to hear from people in a similar situation who have low AMH and a small amount of follicles. Anyone had success in this situation? I’m 40 and have had three cycles (current in the 2WW). Each round I’ve only ever had 2 or 3 mature follicles though and end up with 2 early blastocysts at day
