Is it Behcet’s?
I’ve been to the GP and they’ve tested for
herpes
which was negative, but have given me antibiotics anyway which haven’t worked. They’ve also done a blood test which showed nothing out of the ordinary and on that they have ruled out any immune system issues.

unknown face rash
But we did a
herpes
culture on his mouth which came back negative. He also has random tiny spots on his chest (about four of them) that have not gone away and have been present for as long as the face rash.

Herpes Zoster vaccination OK for me?
I've been recommended by the health board to have the
Herpes
Zoster vaccination prior to starting the biologic jabs. I recall that Zostavax , because it is a live vaccine, is not recommended, but Shingrix is OK. Is Zostavax the same as the
Herpes
Zoster? I would be grateful for advice. Thank you.

This one is a bit "left field" but here goes...
Herpes
is arguably more serious than Covid and I am off my prophylaxis. How long do I leave the bike before I collect it to use? Disinfecting the bike in NOT an option! Trivial in the grand scheme of things I know. But I am a boy with a new toy...!

HERPES 2 increease of incidence as related to reduction in immune response caused by preds
As a modest Boomer, living life within a culture of sexual freedom, I managed to pick up
Herpes
2 virus at some point. It wasn't a bother as it might happen every few years and not last long. It remained that way - maybe once a year?

OCD over skin diseases
I suffer with very bad OCD, mainly health related, and the one I’m hyper focused on now is
herpes
. I know it’s extremely common, and most people don’t even know they have it, but when I see someone with an active outbreak, I’m terrified I’ll get it if I touch anything they’ve touched.

Suspected Vulvadynia? Severe and constant clitoris pain/burning with some pain underneath. All exacerbated by sitting/walking/weeing.
Alongside this they decided to treat me for
herpes
(result wasn’t back yet but I was due to go on holiday) so I began taking aciclovir. Both gave no relief.

why isn’t testing for all STD’s important before IUD insertion
And
herpes
isn’t typically tested because it’s not as common ? Is that true ? If it is that sounds like complete bs how much harder is it to test for all ?

Suspected Bechets - affecting me mentally & physically
I was sent up to the hospital for an emergency appointment, who before even looking just told me I had
herpes
from what I had told them. Once they looked, they were unsure, but did sti tests/bloods/water samples etc and also put me on a 2 week waiting list to be seen quicker by a specialist.

How often do you struggle with genital ulcers?
According to my doctor that makes it more probable that my diagnosis really is
herpes
and not behcets (despite a negative
herpes
test… I’m SO unbelievably tired of hearing this!!!!!!). I understand it’s different for everybody but just out of curiosity :) Thanks! Stina

H2 Memingitis
I was diagnosed in 1984 with
Herpes
2 meningitis. I had never heard of such a thing. I recovered after 10 days in the hospital, but it hit me again 4 years later. Since then I have had it 6 more times, about every 5-6 years. I am currently in the hospital with the latest bout, at 67 years old.

Could this be behcets?
I developed genital ulcers which I was told it is probably
herpes
though not definite as swab test was negative. I was then told subsequent times it was because I was overweight/sweating/rubbing of underwear etc. Every time i had an illness it took longer than average to recover.
