hi guys, I revived oral sex 5 days ago from someone new. A day or two later I felt a bit unwell, and I still feel a bit under the weather now. A bit of a blocked nose and a stuffy head and at times I feel a bit sick.
I noticed yesterday (day 4) some small lumps on my penis head. Most are flash coloured but 2 of them are red. They do not hurt at all.
I’ve ordered a herpes test which will come early next week. But in the mean time could someone take a look and give me a view on weather this looks like herpes or something else?
thank you in advance

thank you iamthemedicalmystery, I am hoping it’s thrush. It hasn’t really blistered and there are no open sores. And I do have a bit of white bull up under the foreskin. It is a bit more red under there though. I’ll get some stuff for thrush today and give it a shot. If it persists I’ll go to the GUM clinic. I’ll probably do the herpes test anyway. Will keep all posted. Thank you again.
I put some cream on to deal with thrush. I feel less unwell and I think the lumps/rash/whatever it is, is getting better. I’m still worried about this the red one in the pics though. These are day 8 pics btw.
I don't see anything in those pictures consistent with genital herpes . I dont know what test you have ordered, as the standard clinic test is a herpes PCR test, which to my knowledge is not available privately. Serology ( blood tests ) are, but not useful in this situation. Was it a male or female contact ? Always consider syphilis testing for penile skin changes .
thank you Galen, it was a male contact. With the herpes blood test I have to wait 3 months ? The test has come but I haven’t done it yet. Yes I’m defo gonna test for a variety of things inc Syphilis. The rash is less angry and if it is herpes it is atypical as it didn’t blister. There is a sort of sore at the top but is very hard to see as it is same colour as my skin.
Oral sex between men is thought to be one of the main routes of transmission of syphilis - and there is a lot of syphilis about at the moment. I would be doing that test as a priority until proven otherwise.
