Long-term tinnitus and sensitivity increased after lots of online meetings
Hello all, I'm here for some advice/ideas in the first instance. Last year, I started noticing increased sensitivity to certain sounds (crockery, dogs' claws on wooden floor), and at one point, I started feeling a little sick and dizzy after a long online meeting. Ever since then, I've had much more

Tinnitus for one month - struggling with anxiety
Hello, I realised I had tinnitus on Sunday 3rd January, I believe I may have had it on/off for some time as I think I was believing the noise to be base on the TV downstairs, or the base on the TV next door. Started off as a low constant hum in left ear. The noise started changing between two tones

Almost 2 years old and still not talking
Hi lovely people, My 23 months old rainbow daughter still doesn't talk; she has a few words like mama, daddy, hi mama, bye mama and a few more; but not really talking and still more babbling. The nursery she goes to has told us that she needs to have about 50 words as a 2-year old toddler and she's

Hi people, I'm new this new, and very anxious as I have no understanding of my condition and would love some info so I know I'm not being dramatic! Here's my story: I'm 27, and I was extremely poorly Dec 2019, like incredibly poorly for about 6 weeks and a doctor didn't know why I was ill for so long

Pulsatile Tinnitus Query.
I have pulsatile tinnitus 24/7. Was referred to a hospital Doctor from my own surgery for an assessment. Taken the hearing test and all ok. With it being "pulsatile" should I have undergone further tests? The Doctor said "tinnitus can pulsate sometimes but there is nothing to be done; no surgery or

New here, ringing keeps getting worse
Hi, I am new here, and my tinnitus keeps getting worse and I don't have a clue what to do. I have had a low ringing in my right ear as long as I can remember, it always sounded like a low Wifi router or something. I used to only hear it at night, and originally assumed it was someone doing works on the

Tinnitus after microsuctioning
Hi there. I'm a recent tinnitus sufferer, having been struggling to cope with it for just over a week. Am REALLY hoping this is a temporary affliction, but the more I read, the more I see it can easily be permanent. Which doesn't help with the stress! So, the brief history: Had both my ears microsuctioned

Creatinine of 18, but kidney function returning.
I was given about 8 dialysis treatments - had a reaction to
heparin
, so they could not do a kidney biopsy because my platelets were low. In the meantime, my creatinine levels started to improve, as did urine output. The diagnosis was interstitial nephritis “without proof.”

Waking up from deep sedatives in ICU.
My Dad went in for bypass surgery which went fine and on the day he was to come home he had a reaction to
Heparin
which was HIT type II rare response. They found clots in his heart and he had a heart attack shortly after in the ICU.

Anticoagulant experience
As I have developed another clot in my heart despite being on Apixaban for the last four years. it is now suggested a low molecular weight
heparin
for a month before doing a TOE has anyone had experience of this drug and any side effects as I have an intolerance to drugs in general.

Xanax withdrawal causing my T. Stops completely when I take it!
Advice and support? Hello. My tinnitus started one month ago. First in my left ear and now both (mainly still the left). Mainly a low hiss, but sometimes a tone. I have had two hearing tests and have no hearing problems. My tinnitus was mainly with me, but I had some days when it disappeared completely

Hair loss
I’m being treated for it on a
heparin
drug called Dalteparin and now on month 5 the hair loss is bad. I read that around month 5 hair loss can show on this drug. The dermatologist I spoke to today said I’m going through 3 different types of loss.

MRI wait and telephone consultation. Long wait is good?
Hi everyone! I had my MRI on the 6th of September, as i’ve had tinnitus for i think a year now and after my hearing test i was told i had mild hearing loss in my left ear. Told it was protocol to have the MRI done to rule things out. I received a phone call from the clinic to book me in for a telephone
