Alcoholic liver disease is a strong predictor of colorectal polyps in liver transplant recipients
In January this year, following a routine blood test by my GP. It highlighted low ferritin levels. After having completed a Fit-Test (faecal haemoglobin test), blood was found in the sample. I later went and had a CT Colonography. This highlighted four polyps in my colon. After a lot of messing around

Never Ending
I was only diagnosed a week ago, after a weekend of being in AFib, went to the ER. Confirmed. It's been non stop ever since. I am now on Xarelto and Metoprolol 50 x2 a day. NO relief. Most of my ECG readings show heart rate around 130-140. BP mostly ok--a bit high, but not awful. I find myself

AF taking a different direction??
Had an AF attack yesterday and it was terminated after 3 hours with my PIP 200 mg Flecainide and half a metoprolol tablet. This is about average and I have attacks every 7 to 10 days. After a few hours rest I went for a walk but didn’t feel great, lethargic and generally off par. I kept checking my apple

Back on the transplant list
Yesterday I returned to the lung transplant waiting list after an enforced break due to my Dad picking up his second bout of Covid. Fortunately, Lauren and I didn't get it, too. We've all been doing regular testing and we must have caught Dad's covid very early before he could unwittingly pass it on.

Severe gastric problems- MMF?
I had my kidney transplant in June of 2021 and am currently taking 500mg cell-cept bid. I started to have stomach issues around the 4 month mark, and they have progressed to the point where my daily activities, sleep, and quality of life is impacted. Up until this point, I have felt terrific! I

Can medication be reduced after a certain time with no problems?
In 2012 I had a heart attack which resulted in the insertion of a stent, fortunately prompt treatment meant there was no major damage to my heart, although I started getting AF attacks in 2016. In 2017 I started taking 100mg of Flecainide and this was successful in stopping my AF attacks. In 2020 I
