Hi there! I am about to do blood work to understand if I have some deficiency that is not helping my PD symptoms. So far, I was recommended to do these exams from one of our members here but wanted to ask everyone anyways what do you recommend to be checked: HsCRP Homocysteine TSH Standard Lipid

After I got on Methotrexate and Hydroxychloroquine, the right hand wrist and finger swelling went away, and I was able to start dropping pred from 5 to 4 to 3 to 2 now. While I am glad for this, I am mad that only a rheumy was smart-experienced enough to think of it, I likely could have saved months

Is it advisable to fast before an HbA1c test?

So, off I went for my annual 24 blood pressure monitor and results of my annual HbA1C test yesterday thinking nothing could be wrong as I am actually feeling pretty OK at the moment apart from a slightly dicky knee and just starting W5, R1 of C25K....again!

So the saga continues, Sneaky GP has refused to reinstate 150mcg daily since reducing it to 150mcg eod in November when TSH 0.01 , 0.27- 4.2, FT4 21.6 12-22, .my HbA1c went up to 54 Vit D 125 , Endo recently said this level was dangerously toxic thought the range BH anyway of 75-200 was optimal

Wonder if anyone else has had this ( or got prof.expertise to advise), did the Full Health Screen blood test from the NHS lab so I’d be well equipped to have phone appointment with GP next week re. Thyroid and vit/ min levels, and they only did 2 tests ( HbA1c and cholesterol) others said ‘not enough

hi is this results per diabetic my doctor has said results are normal but I am concerned is this diabetic or pre diabetes I suffer from server heaachaes in bed every day doctor said CT and blood results normal but I’m wondering if this could be the cause . Thanks

Finally got round to requesting medical records, used the proforma mentioned on here and for the life of me can't remember which post it was on and who told me about it. Went and handed it in yesterday. Also did the BlueHorizon genetic tests sent back the 21st, so a while to wait yet. Still wondering
