olaparib dosage adjustments
when I first started olaparib 4 months back, my
Haemoglobin
and platelets dropped significantly. I was asked to take 2 tabs (150mg each) twice a day. When haem dropped to 6.8, my doc reduced the dose to 1tab *2 and put me on iron supplement.

low platelets and haemoglobin - treatment off
My latest bloods show
haemoglobin
and platelets too low to treat. Again. So I’m back in the wings, until they rise. So frustrating. has anyone else experienced this.? How did you get them back up? And how long did it take?

Consultant called said my
Haemoglobin
is creeping up now 1.5,Haematocrit is 0.50 needs to be 0.45. I don't take any iron supplements but have been drinking Actimel, now know it's crap and won't do that anymore. So I guess that is a factor.

thyroid function satisfactory but iron low
I just rang for update on levels and was told thyroid satisfactory but cholesterol high and iron and
haemoglobin
low. I was told to ring the GP for an appointment tomorrow. I know that there are specific ranges I should have and to ask for those values but can't remember what they are.

Look after yourself!
So today saw me at the GP for myself (felt a bit self indulgent tbh) and I've got low
haemoglobin
, low vitamin levels, possibly due to Covid a couple of months ago, but no doubt aided and abetted by current situation at home.
