More battles with GP
Since then my
haemoglobin
gradually dropped from 126 to 114 in February 2020. Two weeks ago I was told my bloods were ‘normal’ by phone - after I saw him to request ferritin levels check which he ordered. Now to my horror I have discovered that my overlooked ferritin was only 12 !

Delay of operation.
Haemoglobin
was down to 83. (I have had four chemo's) So now I have to wait another week for hopefully my bloods to come back up. I know its not the end of the world, but I had psyched myself up for it and am scared as it is. Just need some re-assurance. Thank you.

Coronavirus - PA sufferers potentially at some increased risk
Iron's absorption, required for
haemoglobin
(Hb) production, may be impaired, too. In consequence, I think that PA sufferers, as a whole, will tend to have lower-than-average total
haemoglobin
levels.

Just wondering if anyone else has a low
haemoglobin
, in December when I was in hospital it was way down in the low 60's and I was possibly needing a blood transfusion, luckily for me it's up at 84 just now which is still low but long term it's also better for me as a transfusion can make it a little

Rise in ALP level, PSA continues to fall, what can it mean?
His blood levels like
Haemoglobin
have improved. Our MO doesnt want to consider the ALP levels now, he wants to monitor PSA and Blood Levels only and any significant change in these numbers he will then shift to a more serious treatment. Should we be concerned about the increase in ALP levels?

A message from hospital bed!!
My new liver is functioning wonderfully🤩, but my pain and issues with my
haemoglobin
have meant energy and strength are not the best. I've had two blood transfusions, and I'm currently getting some IV fluids due to tummy issues (sure you all want to know that!)

Can you help with iron panel blood test please
Range 30-470 RBC. 3.7. 3.80-5.30
Haemoglobin
117. 120-150 Haematacrit 0.36. 0.37-0.45 I had been told in the past it was anaemia of a chronic illness. But with my ferritin level where it is surely I could improve this with some treatment.

Blood Transfusion
Hello Ladies - Unfortunately Niraparib has caused my
Haemoglobin
to fall, I am due to have a blood transfusion tomorrow so that I can hopefully resume Niraparib next week. If any one can answer the following I would be very grateful. Can my husband stay with me? do you get fed?

Niraparib Update..............
Hello Ladies, the Transfusion I had last Friday as done the trick and my
Haemoglobin
is up at 92, so I am going to restart Niraparib at a reduced dose of 200. No further forward in diagnosing my diarrhoea/constipation constant cycle just trying to not let it get me down.

Where to go next? 🤪
Iron 14.1 (11-32)
Haemoglobin
131 (120-150) The GP called me tonight as my TSH is under range (always is!) He was in a rush so I only managed to get a few of my results. I will go and get a print out tomorrow to check everything else.
