What to do about lower than expected test results?
I’d value some advice about what to do regarding my most recent test results: TSH: 0.02 (0.27 - 4.2) FT3: 4.6 (3.1 - 6.8) 40.5 % FT4: 18 (12 - 22) 60% This was on 125mcg Levo five time a week; 100mcg twice a week and 10mcg of Lio a day. Test done per guidelines here. I reduced it from 125mcg Levo

Now I'm really confused – surprising test results
I've been on here before complaining about the same problems which seemed to stem mostly from undertreated hypothyroidism and doctors being too cautious to change my T4 dose. My picture has been complicated for several years by atrial fibrillation which has the grace at times to run to tachycardia (very

Heart rate after levothyroxine increase
Hello all :) I recently got myself a private endocrinologist appointment after being increasingly frustrated by GPs being dismissive, and not wanting to increase my levothyroxine as my levels were "normal" despite still experiencing a lot of symptoms. My Endo Consultation Disaster…. No T3 for me.
Hello everyone, feeling like I want to scream into a pillow this morning! I had my private consultation yesterday and not only wouldn’t he prescribe me any T3, he is also going to write to my GP to reduce my Levo prescription!! So it was all a bit of a disaster really. I showed him my Blue Horizon

Lymphatic system/fluid retention
Hi my lab results are 0.26 TSH, 5.6 T3 and 15.1 T4 . I have hashimotos. I seem to have a very sluggish lymphatic system or water retention. My fingers swell and get worse due to heat causing pain. I also get this all over my body and have bulging not pitting type odema at the top of my shins towards

Fatigued with anxiety
Hi, I have hypothyroidism which was diagnosed three years ago and am currently on Levothyroxine 100mg daily. My memory has improved to a more normal level but I wake up every morning barely able to open my eyes and in work I am able to function, but I lack sharpness and feel detached, almost like I am

Why would my FT4 change?
Hi, My thyroid has been ok for some years now, I have generally felt quite well. A recent GP blood test flagged up that my FT4 is at the bottom of the range. I am currently taking 120mg of NDT, I was on 240mg for many years but was told I must reduce my dosage as my TSH was 0.05. I reduced the dosage

Perplexing results. I wondered if anyone had any thoughts?
I was wondering if any one had any thoughts on my results I’m 14 years post RAI and have been on levothyroxine for 8 years and I seem to be very sensitive to dose change. I don’t have thyroid antibodies just a toxic adenoma. They run my T4 higher around 19- 22 for conversion for T3, my consultant
