IVF and diabetes
So I don't know if this will help anyone here, but having been through a few IVF rounds with a few different clinics I thought I'd share what I learned. 1. IVF doctors know pretty much NOTHING about diabetes. Your GP can tell you that your blood sugar levels are perfect but unless they're in normal (

How long until Egg collection?
Hi all I have just started stims (will be my 3rd injection of FSH & Buserelin tonight). I was on zoladex (in temporary menopause) for 4 months leading up to this and been told my lining is super thin (I think that’s good) so they need to plump up the follicles now. I’m just wondering how long I might

Pain with Gonal F injection
Hi all, We have just done 3rd gonal f injection and so far every one has been excruciating. We’ve already had a month of buserelin every morning and while they aren’t pleasant, there’s been nothing more than discomfort, whereas these are hurting so much I actually have tears in my eyes. I barely feel

Waiting for follicles to grow
Hi everyone, so this is day 14 of stimming and I was told yesterday that my follicles still weren’t at the correct size for egg collection on Friday. I have to go back on Friday for another scan and hopefully collection is going to be Monday. This happened on my last egg collection too but can’t help

Crazy few days
Hello This is my first time writing in this group. I went to see my gynae last week about a possible other cyst (I've had previous ones) and to discuss ivf and we are starting ASAP. Yesterday I had my day 21 appointment and got given my meds; I did my first injections of buserelin last night which

How do I get my lining thinner?
I had my first scan today on long protocol, so have been having Buserelin injections for nearly 3 weeks and was expecting to start stims tomorrow evening (a week later than originally planned) however at the scan I was told my lining was 6.9 and should be below 5 (I assume that means millimeters). Help! Cycle cancelled and still suffering
My cycle got cancelled due to poor response on the 7th October. I started Buserelin on the 8th September and suffered with night sweats and hot flushes. Told all normal on down regulation scan, started gonal f on the 25th September when I went to my scan before egg retrieval it showed I did not respond

FET Cycle starting tomorrow
I start buserelin tomorrow for downregulation and am also having an endometrial scratch in preparation for frozen embryo transfer next month. This is our only embryo but we do have another round of NHS IVF if this transfer isn't successful which I'm hoping we won't need 🙏 Trying to stay positive but

Buserelin Spray leak
Hi, This is a completely random question but does anyone know if you can absorb Buserelin spray through your skin? Reason I am asking is that I had my full bottle of spray in my pocket whilst at work and it has managed to unscrew it’s self and leak. I have about 1/4 left of a full bottle before I

Mid cycle spotting 😳
I'm on day 14 of my cycle, I start buserelin for down regulation for my FET next month and am also having an endometrial scratch this Thursday. I've started spotting, I've noticed I've been getting pre period spotting for my last 3 cycles, it's just been pink/brown and very slight, I'm using ovusense

Is it normal to have cramping immediately after FET transfer?
Hi Ladies, Hope everyone is doing well. I had my FET Transfer on Tuesday, this is our second round. First was fresh but failed. Everyone says the frozen cycle is easier but mine has dragged as I started my buserelin injections on 30th August so it took a while to get to transfer day due to a cyst and

Bleeding on Buserelin
Hi, I'm on day 4 of Buserelin on Long Protocol for our first fresh cycle. It was literally 2 and a half months ago that we had our training for the injections and were talked through everything (we got delayed by a couple of months due to various reasons), but I am SURE I don't remember them saying

FET Drugs arrived
Morning all SO, the FET drugs have arrived. I have already used Buserelin before so that is not the problem. I have three boxes of Evorel (used those before too) but has anyone ever made use of Crinone 8% vaginal gels before or Inhixia . There is something also called Lubion which I believe is the intramuscular

Sad friend - how can I help her?
Hi All, I am looking for a bit of advice. Whilst I am about to start IVF myself NEXT WEEK eeek (Starting buserelin injections on day 21 of my cycle, using donor eggs, and ICSI, but still not totally aware of exact details of my plan) I am seeing a very dear friend this weekend who is suffering anxiety

Endlessly waiting...
Hi all Just checking in as I haven’t posted for a while. Feeling very frustrated at the moment as waiting for AF to arrive so I can schedule our baseline scan for our upcoming FET, currently 5 days late and no sign of it turning up soon as have none of my usual PMT symptoms, just feeling horrendous anxiety

Just checking in my fellow IVF peeps
I am currently on day 4 of 50units of Buserelin at the start of the 1st FET cycle. Have to go in for a baseline scan on day 2 of cycle and then probably down to 20 units of Buserelin and patches and GOD knows what else...I haven't got that far....add into the mix, I have been to see a functional medicine

Zytiga, oxygen and the USA
A couple of months back I posted a query re experiencing shortness of breath after six months on
goserelin
+ zytiga, wondering how this might impact me when I joined my youngest Son (32) for a couple of weeks hiking in Yellowstone and Grand Teton.

Buserelin
Hi there Just wondering if anyone can help. I started the long protocol back in July this year but had to stop after 2 weeks due to issues at the centre and was told the best thing to do would be start again. Haven’t come on my period yet and there is no chance that I might be pregnant so just wondering

Shoulder pain on buserelin
Hi all, I have been on Buserelin for 23 days, and stimming on Menopur for 4 days. For the past week and a half I have had severe shoulder and neck pain radiating to my arm, which is worse overnight when trying to sleep and in the morning. Nothing is really helping. Is this a side effect of buserelin

Late AF Has arrived...time to get in the right mindset for Round 2
Looking for some advice here... After my first round of IVF which failed I am now about to start my FET cycle. We were only left with 1 to freeze of a B/C grade so a bit disappointing. Hoping we still have a good chance 🙏🏼 AF arrived today, 7 days later than expected. So painful ouch! I am going
