Help! Cycle cancelled and still suffering

My cycle got cancelled due to poor response on the 7th October. I started Buserelin on the 8th September and suffered with night sweats and hot flushes. Told all normal on down regulation scan, started gonal f on the 25th September when I went to my scan before egg retrieval it showed I did not respond to gonal f as no eggs and I was still looking like I was at down regulation scan as lining really thin. Stopped drugs and told to wait for next appointment. It’s been 3 weeks since I stopped injections and I’m still suffering with hot flushes and night sweats!? When I rang the clinic they said should be out my system by now and must be something else going on. I went to gp and no signs of infection, gp rang gynaecologist at hospital they reckon it can take 4 weeks to come out system. But clinic are saying this isn’t true. I still don’t have a period and I still have the menopause symptoms!!! Has Buserelin put me into early menopause?. No one has the answers for me?

Wait for next cycle to begin with

Regarding your symptoms it will all come down slowly give it some days ,you will be fine...

First of all please relax a bit ,start some yoga or gym all these improve blood flow to ovary and uterus ,take a break for a month , rejuvenate your self ,pamper urself and get start with ivf...all will be fine.

According to me what I believe is that when universe gives us a desire a desire something truely from heart then universe itself will provide it to us sooner or later or else universe would not fill our heart with desire....

I’m so sorry for what you are going through. I’ve never personally been through the down regulation protocol but I’ve had two IVF cycles cancelled prior to egg collection, so I know how frustrating, disheartening and worrying it can be. Since you are already at 3weeks post injections why not try and get an appointment with your GP next week. That way if your symptoms improve then you can cancel it but if not you can get a referral to the gynaecologist.

Since you said you hadn’t grown much of a lining you wouldn’t have a withdrawal bleed as there is no lining to shed. I’ve seen a lot of ladies on here say that it took a wee while for their menstrual cycles to back to normal after a cancelled cycle.
