27, never had a baby, diagnosed with Adenomyosis!
I was offered Visanne (
gnRh
agonist) to take for 6 months but I refused to take up on the treatment as I went on a little research of women on it, and the side effects sounded really scary.

Anyone about to start Buserelin injections on long protocol IVF? (Importance to start during mid-luteal phase??)
This can occur in the presence of progesterone in the serum of patients, and therefore it is suggested that
GnRH
-a be given during the mid-luteal phase..."

Gonapeptyl for Endometriosis before IVF: where can I find detailed evidence?
There seem to be many sources that provide an overview of how Gonapeptyl (or other
GnRH
agonists) suppress oestrogen production, and that state that reduced oestrogen starves endometrial tissue. However, I can't find any substantial quantitative or qualitative results!

"The Case for surgery for endometriosis" Insightful article explaining why laparoscopic excision is currently best proven treatment for endo
Also explains about hormones and
GnRH
drugs like Prostap, Zoaldex etc and the limitations of using them for endo, and that they should never be used as "diagnostic tools."

Full hysterectomy help please
Did you take
GNRH
before op? Did you take HRT after and how has that been, did you experience very bad menopause symptoms. As much information as possible would be very much appreciated. I am seeing my BSGE specialist on 3rd Nov to discuss both the excision and full hyster.

Synarel (gnrh) and St John's wort?
. - I am on long-term synarel (
gnrh
) for endo and was wondering if anyone knows if I can take St John's wort with it? I know the SJW is contraindicated with the contraceptive pill but not sure about other hormonal treatments.

Treatment options? GnRH Analogues?
Does anyone use the
GnRH
