FDA Turned Your $10 Supplement into a $40,000 Drug
If Emmaus enforces its IND, the only way that L-
glutamine
supplements could survive is if the FDA decides that L-
glutamine
was in the market “in or as” a supplement before 1994.

Old Crohnie newbie here
I have just been reading about some Crohn's sufferers relief from strictures in taking
glutamine
and colloidal silver, and I wondered if anyone here has any experience from taking either of these as supplements?

L-Glutamine, friend or foe for undiscovered tumours? Indigestion feeling in throat, other supplements I could try?
I've read about l-
glutamine
and gut healing, so definitely think I need something to help this but don't want to risk any tumours that I don't know about growing in size. My Dad died of stomach cancer. Does anyone else have this indigestion feeling in their throat?

Tried EVERYTHING, and now...
I saw a naturopath when I returned from JHH and she also said that excess
glutamine
is the basis for the pathology. My lab test show a very high serum
glutamine
level. She started me on NAC (look it up).

An intro to LCHF
Your liver can synthesize glucose (from lactate, alanine,
glutamine
, or the glycerol backbone of fats) for those few cells that need it, if it’s not directly available from ingested starches and sugars.

diet supplements
Hello everyone; I was wondering if anyone is supplementing with collagen and L-
glutamine
? What brands do you like best? Plus, does anyone use Bentonite? If so what have you found to be the best brands?

Hypo thyroid mystery : Is there a cure?
(like
Glutamine
, DHEA) 4.Dairy, Rice/lentils are the major part of my daily diet. Any additions / deletions recommended? 5. Is there anything related with adrenal glands that might be causing these symptoms?

Horrible horrible migraines
hello all! As some of you know, i've started taking Synthroid about a month ago (25 mcgs/ day) Still haven't gone back for my 6 weeks to potentially up the dose. I'm also taking 5000 IU of Vitamin D3 + 50 mcg of K2 every other day. I'm also supposed to start taking Flutamide (anti-androgen) for my PCOS

Silicon gel or glutamine
.. but “ poo” has never been the main problem, more the bloating , churning, painful contractions etc Having been on a low fod map diet for months, tried probiotics, I am now considering silicolgel or
glutamine
. I have read that both can make your stools harder.

, eat healthy, go to the gym and do everything to manage stress but I haven’t been able to fix this. Can you please let me know what you find out?

Some really good info...
I thought I would post some info on glutamate/
glutamine
and its (supposed to happen) conversion to GABA (which is problematic in RLS people.) Glutamate is excitatory and GABA is inhibitory. Glutamate is what keeps one awake and stimulated, while GABA is what helps one relax and sleep.

Xtandi vs generic. Humana advised upon first prescription for Xtandi that the generic drug Flutamide is a substitute. Anyone using a generic
My insurer Humana advised on 2/23/18 that Flutamide is an “approved” generic for Xtandi. This was news to me & while I’m checking with oncologist I wanted to seek input from real world users. This generic is substantially less than Xtandi in price but more important to me is it’s effectiveness. I am
