Proton Treatment - When to start the ADT relative to simulation and CT of the prostate
I am talking to two radiologists who have a strong difference of opinion. One radiologist tells me I should start ADT two months before I do the space OAR, markers and simulation, and then start the radiation. Another doctor tells me I should start the ADT at the same time as I do the space OAR and simulation

lymphedema from prostate cancer, any advice on how to manage?
One of my dad’s biggest issues with prostate cancer is severe lymphedema from the waist down. He used to just have it in his right leg from lymph node removal during RP. Since being on the lynparza in January both sides have swelled up as well as scrotum and everything else below the waist. He was told

Advancements on drugs delivery: interesting review (and with drugs I meant medicine!)
A review on advancements in the application of starch-based nanomaterials in biomedicine: Precision drug delivery and cancer therapy, just one of the many delivery strategies that are being developed sometimes I forget that we have plenty of chemotherapeutics, also new ones that can diversify our strategy

Pluvicto and low Hemoglobin
Hi all, My dad received his second infusion of pluvicto on February 14. About a week ago his hemoglobin dropped to 65. After a unit of blood it went up to around 85 and then every 3 days or so it drops back down the high 60’s. My dad does have prostrate cancer in his bones and lymph nodes. My question

exciting clinical trial
My very long time (20 years!) MBC changed from E+ to triple negative a few months ago and yesterday I was looking on line for clinical trials for TNBC and found one that looks exciting to me, whether I qualify for it or not. It's sponsored by Lyell Immunopharma and targets CAR T cells. I have no idea

Heading down hospice road too…
I’m so sorry to hear about your dad 😢 I’m in a very similar situation with my dad, age 71, Gleason 9 with Mets to bone, lungs, lymph nodes and now a tumor in his bladder. Zytiga worked for him for years, but last January started with more bone Mets and lymph nodes, zytiga restarted and failed. Tried

Advice on hormonal treatment?
hi all, 10 days post-lap here. Unfortunately ended up losing my left ovary and tube - had 4 endometriomas on it, 1 of which was 8cm, and this was all adhered to my rectum. So the surgeon said it needed to come out. I’m waiting for a post-op appointment but the consultant said the endo will likely come

What remains?
My husband's PSA count is 3631. He's had every treatment bar Lutetium and immunotherapy and he doesn't have the BRCA gene. Are we at EOL? He, although emaciated, believes that it's not over yet.
