recommendations for The Christie ?

hi everyone ,

I haven’t posted for a while as I have been taking part in a clinical trial which has now finished . Can anyone recommend an oncologist specialising in Ovarian Cancer at The Christie ? I’m looking for another trial if possible and I can travel to The Christie .

I just want to wish everyone well and say ‘ keep positive’ and hopefully one day , the many clinical trials will result in , if not a cure, something to keep the tumours in check .and to allow us to live a longer life .

sending love to all..x x

hi there, I can highly recommend Professor Gordon Jayson he’s an amazing oncologist, very knowledgeable and caring. If it wasn’t for him I might not be here now as he discovered my OC was a different type all along, with a very different approach to treatment. I saw him a few weeks ago and he’s very positive, he has a nice sense of humour as well.

He will do what he can to help you and is very involved in the trials at the Christie.

If you’re looking for the OC expert at that hospital he’s the man, good luck with your next steps and keep us posted xxx

hi. I’m on a trial at the Christie’s. The trials team professor jayson., dr clamp and dr hasan. They are all very good. All calm, positive and informative. I’ve been going every month for over 2 years.

I was talking to a lady a couple of months ago in trial pharmacy who said she had been on her trial drug 10 years . So maybe that was you 😊

White hair, southern accent (sound like a cockney but I’m not lol), curvy (ok, overweight lol)?

that’s great! We must Persevere. I am now on a new immunotherapy which is lowering my CA125 nicely. 🙏
