A Newbie with Pelvic Organ Prolapse
Hi, This is my first post... I was diagnosed in Nov 2019 with a 'moderate,' anterior and posterior prolapse. The Gynaecologist was uncommunicative and detached. His first words to me after "Hello," were to ask me if I want to be fitted for 'pessary' during the appointment. My response was, "Fitted

Prolasped uterus. Going withour Pessary?
What should I expect? prolapsed Uterus. I have problems with pessary ring. Since having 2 rings fitting 1 week apart in early March this year I have been in discomfort sitting down. The ring has improved things. No backache. A little feeling of things coming out. Saw new consultant on 10/7 as I was

9dp5dt and Started Period
I am feeling very down as I started my period this morning. I had all the symptoms of AF arriving yesterday evening and tried to reassure myself by reading posts from other IVF'ers, many of whom said they had experienced AF symptoms but not come on and gone on to have a BFP. I am two days away from ODT

When to start your progesterone?
Quick query to those who have done FETs. When do you start your progesterone before transfer? I’m due to start tomorrow and then transfer in 6 days (next Wednesday). My wonder is what time of the day should I take my first pessary, AM or PM? I just know that even a few hours of progesterone either way

Post Pessary insertion
Hi. Am going into Hospital Tuesday with a view to having a ‘pessary’ fitted to help alleviate bladder prolapse. For those of you who have had this done, could you tell me, are you well enough to return home by bus, train etc? Thank in advance

Various questions - please help if you can :(
Hello - new to this, so here goes... So I have been with my partner 4 years and when we first got together we contracted Chlamydia & Gonorrhoea (obviously from previous people - we have always been faithful I absolutely know that). We took a course of antibiotics and then got our results back that it

Never give up!
So I haven’t been on here for a good long while but wanted to pop back as look at old posts from my first ivf cycle. Remembering the stress of it all and convincing myself that our little 3 day embryo wasn’t ever going to work - well he’s a 2 and a half year old bundle of energy declaring “mummy I think

Prolapse
I'm new on this chat, does anyone know what happens if you don't get a pessary changed after six months for prolapse treatment? I'm starting to get a lot of discomfort and haven't got an appointment for the clinic?

Coming off cyclogest - boobs less sore, is that normal?
Hi all, I am weening off cyclogest and down to one pessary a day. I’m still on 4 progynova tablets a day. My boobs are getting less sore and my nausea has subsided. I’m obviously thinking the worst and have major anxiety over losing. Have done since the beginning. Has anyone else has a loss of symptoms

Ongoing thrush problem (I think?) not responding to anti-fungal treatment anymore
Last summer, I developed a white thicker discharge than normal that looked like it had little white specs in it (what looked like and felt like dead skin or wet tissue). However, I didn't really have any other symptoms like itching or soreness. I bought the oral pill (Fluconazole) which got rid of it

Progesterone Pessary and thrush?
TMI warning!! Did anyone else get thrush from the progesterone pessary? I’m starting to get really itchy!! And sometimes the pessary kinda stings. I’m worried I’m a bit allergic to it, and that can’t be good! My doc told me to take canestan pessary for one night only ...but not the cream. But it’s the

Fertilisation #pessary
So I got the call this morning, 11 out of 18 eggs has Fertilised. And first pessary in, which was tricky to beginning with, as I pulled it out, it was still on the applicator 😂 any tips on this would be helpful. Also was the % on how many fertilised eggs will make it to the next stage? Another anxious

TMI Question 🙈
Let’s just say since starting treatment my number 2 💩 routine has gone out of the window. If I needed to go I had to go, even at work, or I was constipated and I now have many piles which are causing me pain. I needed to go for number two just before my embryo Transfer but they wouldn’t let me as I

Constant thin uterus lining and TShaped uterus
Hi. I’ve had constant issues with my lining and have had 2 ops to remove scarring. 6.7mm is the thickest it’s ever been. We have 2 frozen blastocysts waiting to be transferred (using donor eggs) but are in a catch 22. I’m on 3 estrogen patches, 6mg of progynova and aspirin...again! I’ve been reading

I’m really paranoid & worried that i miscarried last time down to progesterone as my embryo implanted. My clinic stoped pessary on day of blood test 9 days after ET just 2 weeks after EC. As soon as I stopped pessary my hcg got lower and lower. So Iv booked in with my local doctors to get a blood test

Induction not working so far
Hi guys I’m 40+6, FTM and was admitted to hospital at 40+4 after a scan showed low amniotic fluid around baby. They wanted to start induction process straight away and I’ve to stay in until baby is born for lots of monitoring. So far they gave me a 24 hour pessary which did start mild contractions,

Urinary/vaginal problems - LOTS OF ITCHING AND INFLAMMATION
*i posted this in another group but thought this one would also be good for a second opinion! Hi everyone, I haven't posted on here in a while but this has been a long term condition I have been suffering with for a few years at this point.
