Hi. Am going into Hospital Tuesday with a view to having a ‘pessary’ fitted to help alleviate bladder prolapse. For those of you who have had this done, could you tell me, are you well enough to return home by bus, train etc?

Thank in advance

Why hospital ? My GP just does them at the surgery.

It’s sort academic isn’t it? My GP just does not do them and Merton Hospitals do. My point was. “Are you perfectly able to do things normal after”

So the question remains

Ok no need to be snappy, it's just normally something done by GPs. Yes you carry on as normal afterwards although be prepared for it to fall out if it's not the right size ! Hope it works for you.

Hi Jennycee10. Sorry for the late reply, but I only just seen your message. I have mine changed every 4 months at the hospital. Provided they can find the right size , you'll be able to do everything. You won't even feel it. I had my 1st one 12 years ago and I've never had any problems. Good Luck 👍
