progesterone

I’m really paranoid & worried that i miscarried last time down to progesterone as my embryo implanted. My clinic stoped pessary on day of blood test 9 days after ET just 2 weeks after EC. As soon as I stopped pessary my hcg got lower and lower.

So Iv booked in with my local doctors to get a blood test tomorrow and Friday to check progesterone is ok for ET on Saturday. Going to carry on getting bloods done until I’m reassured my levels r good.

Does anyone recommend getting blood tested for anything else while I’m there?

what should my results be??

Thank you in advance

Baby dust to you all xxx

Sorry for your experience last time. Are you having a fresh cycle/transfer or a FET? I always recommend this thread from Scarlett13 on the importance of having your progesterone checked, so happy reading.

As regards other test, maybe reading up on posts and replies from GPmum might help as well. Not much but hope it helps🤗

I would recommend having your progesterone tested for transfer, perhaps the day before transfer so if necessary you can take extra meds to increase your levels. Its so important for implantation. I presume your clinic told you to stop meds as your hCG wasnt high enough for a successful pregnancy in your last cycle? Good luck. xx

My clinic won’t test me so I’m going to my doctors, no my clinic stoped my med the morning of test... Before my results was back... they say if u get a BP your body produces enough for no need for anymore med and if u get a BN then obviously you don’t need them either. Just feel like Iv been filled with meds for so long then stop all of a sudden. Can’t help but think the hcg dropped due to no meds xx

Omg, what were your results when they came back? My clinic would keep me on all medication until around week 11 then wean me off slowly. I think you defo need progesterone for longer, most clinics do this too.xx

My not sure on my lever but my blood was BFP. You can imagine how happy we was for all of 10second then they said but... your hcg is just below what we would like it to be... i went back following day and hcg had increased but the day after that they dropped again and carried on dropping it I got my period :(

Ahhh that may be the reason that they asked you to stop meds at that stage. I had to do the same with my last positive and it was all looking very promising before then. Best of luck with this one.xx
