She gave me
gedarel
to give me a break. I wouldnt be on them continuously as we are going to the fertillity clinic next month and still trying naturally but it would give me a break from feeling shit. She said they would help a little with the fatigue. Is anyone else on these and what are they like?

Gedarel pill
Also is
Gedarel
an anti-androgen? Is it better or worse than Yasmin? Does it help with hormonal acne and hair growth? Will I gain weight with this pill? (I have not taken any type of pill before). Thanks!

Over 18 months on..........
In the meantime I was advised by my GP to go on
Gedarel
pill and to skip my pill free weeks altogether as bleeding would aggravate the endometriosis. For 7 months everything was fine but a few weeks ago I started to experience very irregular bleeding.

Late pills
I am taking
gedarel
30/150 combined pill. It says in the information packet that a missed pill is one that is taken over 12 hours late and I'm usually really good at taking them at the same time...however this packet I took the first pill of the pack approximately 9 hours late.

Going to GP to ask for referral
I am half way through 3 months worth of a new pill called
gedarel
20/50 and I am experiencing more bleeding during/after intercourse. And more pain generally too. I have changed my pill three times now in 18 months and I am constantly told to go onto the marina coil.

Contraception advice
Hello, I am 39 and taking
Gedarel
. I have yet to have a period in the pill free week and tend to have it two or three weeks after. Recently my partner and I decided to not use additional contraception and just go with the pill. So, Friday 2nd October was my last period.

Endometriosis, Norethisterone and so many Tablets!
After surgery I have been put on pill (norethisterone) to reset my cycle and subsequently a new pill (
Gedarel
) which gave me severe abdominal pain so I have stopped that one immediately.

Cortisol and Full hormone tests now being done but...
I was a bit alarmed that when I checked, the product he gave me - dianette, is not generally prescribed by doctors in my surgery and a female doctor gently advised me that due to my age etc, she would rather prescribe a lower dose pill -
gedarel
.

A bit confused and started cerazette.
She has taken me off the combined pill that I was on (
Gedarel
) and has put me on cerazette instead which she said she hopes will help.

Best pill!
I have been on
gedarel
for ten days, and feel awful! Migraines, fatigue, passing out, dizziness, sore legs the list goes on! I'm going back today and been told the cerazatte is very good for endo sufferers, has only one used it? Jem x
