Over 18 months on..........

I had a private laparoscopy over 18months ago where I was diagnosed with stage 2 endometriosis and adhesions. I mentioned to my surgeon during my follow up consultation that I was still experiencing the same pain after my surgery but he dismissed it by saying it would take time for my body to heal.

In the meantime I was advised by my GP to go on Gedarel pill and to skip my pill free weeks altogether as bleeding would aggravate the endometriosis. For 7 months everything was fine but a few weeks ago I started to experience very irregular bleeding. I started off by bleeding for 2 weeks straight then was fine for a week then bled again for a week and a half fine for a few more days and have bled for another 10 days. All whilst taking the pill continuously.

Alongside this I have also been experiencing random bouts of bloating in my lower abdomen, a stabbing sharp pain in my right ovary, horrendous pain when bleeding, fatigue, pain during and after intercourse accompanied by more bleeding a lot of lower back pain and a lot of IBS type symptoms.

I`m awaiting an urgent referral to see a gynaecologist but this can take 2-3 months if they see it as an urgent case. Could this be my endometriosis flaring back up already or could there be something else going on that needs further investigation?

I feel so frustrated and isolated because of this so I would be grateful for any advice.
