Hi everyone, well following my lap they decided my only option is pain management by going on the pill! I have been on gedarel for ten days, and feel awful! Migraines, fatigue, passing out, dizziness, sore legs the list goes on! I'm going back today and been told the cerazatte is very good for endo sufferers, has only one used it?

I was put on combined pill 2 months ago for endo treatment and had terrible headaches after only a week of starting it ( I have previous history of headaches) I was also crying every 2 mins which was a bit awkward.
I have now been on cerazette for over two weeks. I know it's early days but at least on these I don't get the headaches so far .
I had endo and subserosal fibroid removed during laparoscopy this April and unfortunately my pain was back 4 weeks after surgery.
My gp is trying me on cerazette and mefanemic acid for the pain but mentioned referring me back to gynae if the pain doesn't ease.
I would definitely give the cerazette a try though,as it is just a matter of trying different things till you find something that suits you. Good luck
There are many to try, and you may need to change several times to figure out which one gives the fewest side effects. And as you get older you may need to do the swapping of pills business again.
If the BC Pill dosage is too much, the mirena coil offers a much lower dose alternative with potential to last 5 years without having to take any daily pills. Certainly worth a try in my opinion and experience.
i cant recommend nuvaring enuf. i get migraine with combined pills and depression with cerazette but no problems at all with nuvaring (well a slight dampening of my sex drive but stopped it for a couple of months and sex drive back) and it stopped the pain for four years.
it is the leading contraceptive in europe where it has been available for the last 11 or 12 years but has been slow to take off in uk due to price and has only been available here for 2 or 3 years.
