B12 or something else?
I had a
gastroscopy
last December and was told I have mild Gastritis/peptic ulcer disease/hiatal hernia. My recent Full Blood count: Mean cell volume 97.0 fL [83.0 - 101.0] Mean cell haemoglobin level 30.1 pg [27.0 - 32.0] both these values have been creeping up in the last few years.

Another update….high platelets….
Colonoscopy and
gastroscopy
all clear, Jak2, CalR and MPL negative. During my tests it was picked up that I was iron deficient with low ferritin results. Not anaemic though.

More pain in January, no obvious cause, T2 diabetes diagnosed in February, MRCP and CT in March showed liver changes,
gastroscopy
in April said no varices but blood work said maybe haemochromotosis, fibroscan in May said cirrhosis and maybe not haemochromotosis, in July T2 diabetes diagnosis replaced

Prior to this I have had a colonoscopy and a
gastroscopy
as they first suspected ulcerative colitis. Which all came back clear. I have been suffering for so long . I feel so alone. Any Advice would help. Thanks in advance x

coughing up mucus
I don’t have a feeling of anything stuck in my throat, I enjoy my meal, then start coughing straight away, it leaves me breathless I take Lamprazole 2-30mg a day, I have recently had a
gastroscopy
and the doctor said everything was fine and he wouldn’t be seeing me again.

Reflux and Omeprazole
The Dr performed a
Gastroscopy
and took 6 biopsies. Awaiting the results within the next 6 weeks, but he also found I have a Hiatus Hernia. So I guess I'm stuck with the acid reflux. However he did suggest they try another PPI like Esomeprazole as I felt the Omeprazole wasn't working.

undiagnosed, unwell and with other autoimmune conditions .
Tests just starting to eliminate conditions,
gastroscopy
found nothing, abdominal scan pending, omeprazole prescribed.

Rawr!
But a
gastroscopy
gave no extra information. I had sepsis twice, two long hospital stays. Adding that as I truly feel something happened the second time, that had not been found. Rawr. So tired of trying to balance budgeting, border issues & this crazy puzzle.

I WANT TO PUT SOMEONE'S MIND AT EASE AFTER MY FIRST COLONOSCOPY
This time, they did a FIT test and referred me for a Colonoscopy and
Gastroscopy
at the same time. Because I had now started vomiting too, for whatever reason. Anyway, my FIT test came back positive after a week, which was just over a week ago now.

Omeprazole and Gastroscopy
Before my
gastroscopy
, I was well for about 6 weeks with no probs, since the procedure, I have had the constant feeling that I have a lump in my throat, and now feel like I have something stuck. I was told by the gastro that these symptoms were acid reflux.

reflux and the nose?
Upper
gastroscopy
ruled out an ulcer. My question is does anybody experience a strong pressured fizzing feeling in the bridge if the nose, middle of forehead and behind the eyes? It’s most disconcerting.

Advice re: ‘widespread portal hypertensive gastropathy’ following gastroscopy.
Was referred for CT scan of stomach/pelvis &
gastroscopy
. He has also been referred for a Fibro Scan due to concerns that he has cirrhosis with advanced fibrosis. Still waiting for a date for that.

Rheumatoid and throat -update
GP referred me for
Gastroscopy
which I had yesterday. Relieved there was no sign of any tumours or Barrett’s Oesophagus but inflammation seen in upper stomach. Consultant suggested asking GP to switch me from Omeprazole to a different PPI and not Lansoprazole. Interesting - must do some research!

Hydroxycarbamide and difficulty swallowing
The
gastroscopy
was reported as not showing reflux. I have read that the hydroxy capsule can start to dissolve on the way down and this can cause oesophageal problems. Has anyone else suffered this and if so how is it dealt with?

Carvedilol
Hi, I've had my second (annual)
gastroscopy
since my Cirrhosis was diagnosed last year in February. The results were pretty much as the first one, so no change. The doctor who performed this test, different to the first one, suggested that my GP put me on Carvedilol.
