Advice Greatly Appreciated
Good Day, I would sooooo appreciate a response/advice/opinions.... I was recently advised by my GP (family doctor) that I have cirrhosis. This is of course terrifying...I apparently had sever fatty liver in July 2021 but I was sadly not informed of this. I would have turned it around immediately.

Does having CLL really make you 3 times more likely to get (another) cancer, and does CLL treatment add to the risk? - Part 1
1. The risk of developing a Secondary Primary Malignancy
"The higher risk of SPM associated with CLL has been recognized for many years, well prior to the modern therapy era. Manosow and Weinerman in 1975 demonstrated a three-fold increase of SPM and an eight-fold increase of SC in CLL

Has anyone been taking Verzenio for more than 2 years?
I was diagnosed with ILC stage 3, HER2 negative, ER positive, PR positive in November 2020. I had a mastectomy, chemo and radiatin and my scans showed no further evidence of cancer. I have been on anastrazole and in May 2021 I was started on Verzenio. They said it is only approved to be used for 2

Need Help Interpreting My PSMA/PET SCAN
About a month ago I posted the results of my Prostate MRI and got some very good advice through this forum. The Prostate MRI report recommended that I get a PSMA PET/CT. I had the Pet Scan done at City of Hope and received the results today. The ONCOLOGIC AND POTENTIALLY ONCOLOGIC FINDINGS are as follows

Hi! I'm new and excited to meet others and learn about your journey
Good afternoon. I'm new to the group. I already posted an item, but thought I should introduce myself. I was diagnosed with Stage 1 breast cancer in 2010. Had a mastectomy. Went on tamoxifen for 2 years, then quit because it made me feel miserable. No chemo. In 2022, I was once again diagnosed

Docs who prescribe mebendazole and metformin
HI! I am currently taking letrozole for metastatic breast cancer. I am also doing the COC protocol, but only with mebendazole and metformin. Just curious, are any of you getting mebendazole or metformin from any other docs than COC? Thanks! Sue

PSA Rising
Asking for a friend of my father this time. He had surgery in december 2022 and everything was removed including glands. Gleason 4+5. His PSA has risen frĂ„n 0.1 to 0.14 in 12 months. His doctor says to do nothing until it hits 0.2. But shouldnât he do more? Maybe he doesnât have advanced cancer yet.

Diagnosed in November 2022. Favorable intermediate with Gleason 6 & Gleason 7 (3+4), with 4 less than 5%, and low Decipher score. On AS. 13 months later, one year MRI showed âconcerningâ images, with irregular capsule (visible), and extra capsular extension probable (interpretation from radiologist).

Ablation
Hi All, I am wondering if anyone has gone the ablation route with non small cell lung cancer? I had cyberknife in my lower right lung back in 2011. It was effective with minimal side effects. In 2020, the cancer came back in my upper left lung. Now in 2024, it is back in my upper right lung. Apparently

not so great Petscan
Friday I had my first Petscan after two cycles of Ibrance and one on Kisqali. I was really hoping for all good results. Unfortunately, it was a mixed bag. My metastasis is my my lungs and there were three spots, two were biopsies and one too small was just assumed to be my breast cancer cells. Well

Father with Stage 4 prostate cancer in 8 bones.
On 10/25/22 I took my dad (79 at the time) to the ER at the VA for escalating back pain and we walked out with a stage 4 prostate cancer diagnosis. When I brought him to the ER I expected them to tell me he had lung cancer as he is a lifelong smoker. Additionally, I had been worried about him all year
