Referred pain from back
I have had
fractures
a couple of years ago at L1, L3 and L5 (as well as T10, T11, T12. Two years ago, when I got out of bed I had severe pain and then 2 years getting over that so I am assuming that was the L1, as that is the last one to fracture in the lumbar area.

Xtandi vs. Zytiga
I was diagnosed last December. Some bone mets, no soft tissue issues. PSA 365. Firmagon for a month, then Lupron since. Also Zytiga w/Prednisone. PSA went down to 1. Two months ago my liver enzymes started to rise. Took a one month vacation from Zytiga. Liver enzymes came back to normal. Resumed

After waiting nearly 2 years for an appointment with the Pain Management Team at my local hospital, what a complete farce it was, During the 3 years of a broken ankle, I have seen many specialists all saying that I had the condition Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, but to get it verified I had to see

Could we switch to Zytiga now to make hormone therapy work longer?
I've read the article that Tall_Allen included in one of the posts: https://www.prostatecancer.news/2019/12/optimal-chemohormonal-sequencing-for.html "After cross-over, PSA was reduced by more than 30% in 36% of those who had Xtandi-second vs only in 4% of those who had Zytiga-second" If I had known

due to steroids. My mobility is poor. I have wide spread severe pain especially in hips upper legs shoulders lower back. Severe stiffness that is all day. Severe sweats too. Does anyone else have this stiffness and pain so severe high dose fentanyl patches ibuprofen etc is not enough.

What Do You Make of This?
https://www.redjournal.org/article/S0360-3016(22)03349-1/fulltext I had a Gleason 4 tumor (2 cm x 1 cm) with a PSA in the 20's. Is this saying that targeted treatment with no or limited ADT would have been sufficient, especially if HDR brachytherapy were used with IMRT?

Advice on new results please in preparation for completing e-consult
My aim is to request an urgent medication review, include my recent BT results, summarise my research, especially that which states T4 should be at the upper limit of normal and that low TSH does not increase risk of coronary disease or
fractures
and quote NICE guidance 1.1.2 & 1.5.4.

Oleic acid(OA), increases proliferation of highly malignant PC3 & DU145 PCa cells.Docetaxel cytotoxic action is significantly reduced by OA.
1. Oleic acid promotes prostate cancer malignant phenotype via the G protein-coupled receptor FFA1/GPR40. The report Abstract is embedded below. 2. Here is a link showing foods that are high in Oleic Acid: https://foodnutri.com/search/n0/n/n/n/617/1 3. Question: Should we be trying to eliminate

missed the boat on triplet therapy?
my dad just finished his 6th round of taxotere this last September (along w eligard q 3 months). His psa thus far has had a favorable response. Sadly I had mentioned adding zytiga (after reviewing peace trial) at his initial consult and was told this would be next line for when he had a psa progression

intermittent anti androgen monotheray and bipolar androgen therapy
casodex mono therapy raised T to 1000 and going off cycle exposing naked pc to high T would be a mild form of BAT. MAYBE EVEN MORE WITH NEW AA. Has anyone thought of this interesting possibility. I have done this once for a 2-3yr period of 23 yrs of HT

PSA is relatively low, but I am having bone pain in my pelvis and spine
So here is my background: Dx in May 2020 Stage 4 with widespread mets from skull to knees, Gleason 9. PSA in the 800s. Started out with Firmagon and 5 rounds of Taxotere. PSA went to 0.1. We switched from Firmagon to Orgovyx in August 2021. In January 2022 we added Nubeqa. PSA has held pretty steady
