Fostair and tertible sude effects
I was put on
fostair
from seretide 3 years ago. It's worse than awful. Muscle cramps and horrendous "doms" from resistance training, serious weight gain such that I have to diet assiduously (went from 12st 8 lb to 14 St 3lb without noticing it in about six months!!!)

Help some advice needed.
I am on
Fostair
and blue salbutamol now but the doctor says it can take a while for the
Fostair
to work. The last flair up I had, it took months to control but eventually with Simbicort it worked a treat. I have requested simbicort again but she won’t prescribe it.

Not sure if asthma?
Earlier I tried my
fostair
inhaler (2 puffs) and pretty much immediately something felt better. 30 mins later I feel like more air is getting into my lungs and feel 'free'?

Spiriva not working - broken?
I have been taking Spiriva and
Fostair
for three years. They are great. Last week whilst using Spiriva in my usual manner I saw white mist escaping from the sides of the mouthpiece. Now my asthma is well controlled 24/7.

FOSTAIR200/6 & 12 WEEK LETTER
Hi, I know there's a lot of confusing info out but can anyone tell me: If you are on
Fostair
200/6 (2*2 puffs) am I entitled to the 12 week isolation letter? Work for one of the big supermarkets, so not a great environment.

Prednisolone
He has also given me a blue inhaler and
fostair
100/6 1 puff twice a day. He didnt actually say when to have them so guessing I should split them 2 tablets at breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Question about fostair
Hi all, so I have been switched to
fostair
from symbicort but my question is how long would it take for the new inhaler to be at full effect?

Incorrect information on Asthma.org
I take 2 puffs twice a day with
Fostair
200/6 and have been told by my doctor and by a paramedic that i would not be considered someone who needs to be shielded. So now I am going to have to back to work and explain to my manager that the information I had was incorrect.

Fostair question
I take two puffs of
Fostair
twice a day. Can I safely increase this by adding in a lunchtime puff? I’m wheezy I think because of Spring allergies

I have changed red inhaler type several times but
fostair
is the worst reaction yet. Has anyone else experienced this?

GP told me to self isolate 2 more weeks?
I'm
Fostair
100/6 2 puffs twice a day, + extra when I need it. The last time I had bad flu I ended up in hospital with pneumonia and pleurisy for a week.

Stress and asthma?
Will also add am on day 4 of 5 of prednisolone for flare up and also take
fostair
twice daily and fexofendine. Flare up has been building from triggers over time (stupidly ignored by me until too late!) so definitely asthma not anxiety for the flare up.

Self isolating in a shared household after holiday abroad
I have been taking
fostair
100/6 twice a day for past 6 weeks and seem to be working. Asthma better in hot weather. My question is I am ok but will be returning home and my parents are over 70 but in good health. Any advice how to self isolate or quarantine in a shared household?

What group am I in?
I am taking
Fostair
but 4 puffs a day and not the 6 that is listed. Am in the the group that needs to stay in for 12 weeks, or am I in the group that has to be extra careful with social distancing.

Recovery time after flu triggered asthma exacerbation
I am on high dose meds ( just started Relvar 124 and Montelukast, after being on
Fostair
200) and am having phone consults with out patient respiratory team. They seem perplexed as to why it is taking me so long to recover ( as am i).
