Self Isolation/At risk

Hi

i am present taking Fostair 100/6 twice a day 2 puffs in the morning and 2 puffs at night time.I am a little confused as to what to do, am i in the at risk category? and do i have to self isolate for 12 weeks?.

Any advice would be highly appreciated.

Not according to the guidelines. But I would still be very careful.

As others have said, you're not in the top shielding group, however, you're in the next group and will have to practise strict social distancing (minimum 2 meters from others), especially at work and while out in public (shopping).

You can take advantage of the vulnerable hour shopping provided by the supermarkets.

At work ensure that you are working at distance from others. The government have made it absolutely clear that if you can work at home you should. Otherwise the employer has to provide the protocols to ensure their workers are able to practice social distancing. If they are unable to provide safe working conditions then a reasonable adjustment would be paid time off in order to protect you.

NHS texts and letters (I don't think they are using emails) for the extremely vulnerable (those requiring self-isolation) could take until 29 March to be received; it must be a logistical nightmare to send all these out to 1.5m people, and it certainly could not be done simultaneously!

The current advice is, if you have not received notification by the 29th, and you think you are in the extremely vulnerable category, then you should contact your GP.
