Antihistamines for Post Covid Symptoms?
Hi, a few weeks ago I tested positive for Covid… It caused an asthma flare but my
Fostair
and Ventolin along with a course of Dexomethasone steroids seemed to have kept it manageable… Although the actual illness passed very quickly (temp, awful throat, horrible barking coughing fits) I have been left

Diltiazem and Rosuvastatin
I also have to have a
Fostair
inhaler but simply don’t know what’s causing me to feel poorly. I feel spaced out, light headed and unsteady , especially in the mornings ,and often a little nauseous! Any ideas would be gratefully received!! Thankyou!

laryngospasm started in recent months
I started using
fostair
after my covid vaccine made the asthma worse in March 2021. The
fostair
irritates my throat and I wondered if that was the cause of the recent spasms, they seems to be getting worse now. Has anyone else had this experience and was there anything you could do about it?

I am on
fostair
100 under the mart regime. Most weeks I get one major asthma attack taking me down to approx 50 percent of my peak flow, cannot walk or talk, and the rest of the week more minor attacks daily. The major attacks are a little scary for me, and very scary for my wife.

There was a suggestion I could replace my
Fostair
200/6 with the Forstair !00/6 so that I could be more flexible. At present I use half the dose in summer, full dose in winter.

Update on my Sirdupla changes
He would like me to swap to the
Fostair
Nexthaler and keep on my Spiriva. He also wanted to put me on Montelukast to help with the transition.

sudden attacks?
I have had a review where a suggestion to change from
fostair
to a red/white inhaler was made but I have already tried a red/white one and I have been better on
fostair
so reluctant to switch.

I have been perscribed
Fostair
100/6 from the doctor along with lots of others in the past and feel no different so not sure how this would help with emphysema This is my first post so not sure if it's in the right place.

Variable peak flow daily
Been on
Fostair
200 ( 2puffs morn and 2 puffs night) and asthma tablet. Asthma Nurse stated this is not controlled asthma with such variable flow readings, feel quite anxious about it. Still have some sort of viral chest infection (week 7)! KR Lizzy

long term fostair 200/6 use
Hi all I going to have my eyes tested today and was wondering if using
Fostair
long term (200/6 twice a day) has an effect on eyes. I currently wear reading glasses and occupational glasses for working at a computer. I been using
fostair
for over 3 years now.

Fostair and steroids
I’ve been given a 5 day course of prednisone and am on
Fostair
two puffs twice a day. Is it ok to continue with the
Fostair
whilst on the steroids? I’d upped the puffs to 2 puffs x3 a day before I was given the steroids

benralizumab (fasedra)
During the summer, I had vastly improved and was able to lead a normal life on
Fostair
200 plus ciclesonide and at that time, I turned down the ‘offer’ of benralizumab as I seemed to continue improving and was concerned that this medication has not been around all that long and they were saying I would

Asthma triggered by allergies & virus
I'm on
Fostair
200 twice a day and Montelukast. I take an antihistamine daily. I reduced
Fostair
from 2 puffs twice daily as it gave me a croaky voice. I'm in my 40's - started H.R.T six months ago. The meds control my asthma well most of the time.

The beginning. A warning !
After deciding that in my case ventolin was not very effective I seem to get a bit of relief from an inhaler called
Fostair
. I know we are all different but after trying different ones this is the best one in my case . Hope this sharing saves someone from suffering the same fate as me .

Asthma uncontrolled post covid
Post Covid they increased my steroid inhaler, then swapped it for the
Fostair
200/g, as well as advising I continue to taken salbutamol. Recently they have put me on Montelukast. None of this seems to be getting my asthma under control and I feel helpless/like I’m going round in circles!

Fostair makes me cough
Hi, I was prescribed
Fostair
a few months ago, never having had a combination inhaler before. It was fine for a while but then I started coughing all day long. I read that this might be a side effect of
Fostair
so I stopped taking it and now the coughing isn’t so bad.
