Fostair or Luforbec
My husband has been changed from
Fostair
to Luforbec by the GP. Presumably to save costs. They are supposed to be similar. He seems so much more wheezy awaking at night, coughing, since changing over the last five days. We are to get on to GP tomorrow.

DUORESP SPIROMAX
Tried
Fostair
but has not worked at all for me. I am now going to be trying DUORESP SPIROMAX. I have never heard of this but respiratory nurse thinks it is worth a try. Has anyone used this and how have they got on with it please? Many thanks for any replies.

Upset about inhalers
Last one was
Fostair
and Christmas was miserable as I had really bad oral thrush. I’m in tears after getting home from pharmacy to discover the GP today prescribed Symbicort. She said it would be better than
fostair
but it’s the same! I just want the classic brown one!

Qvar for asthma plan
I’m on
fostair
200/6 x2 twice a day plus montelukast and fexofenadine. My asthma management plan now includes Qvar 100 x 12 puffs twice a day if I’m struggling. My asthma mostly manifests as a cough. I had a severe coughing experience for several hours after a meal out a week ago.

Sudden onset poorly controlled asthma
He started me,on
Fostair
100/6 Nexthaler and asked me to keep a peak flow diary for a few weeks and book in to see the asthma nurse who could see if I was asthmatic but he wasn’t convinced I was asthmatic as I had been fine up until the bug I got.

Lost inhaler
I was away this weekend and left my inhaler (
fostair
nexthaler 200/6) on a coach I was travelling on. This means I will miss tonights, tomorrow morning. I was at the very end of my current one but ordered a new one on friday. I should be able to pick one up tomorrow after work.

Is my FOSTAIR NEXThaler working correctly?
I have just taken receipt of my first
FOSTAIR
NEXThaler, and I’m concerned that I’m either not doing something correctly, or the inhaler is faulty? (OR it may be absolutely fine! 😃).

Fostair - prescription every 30 days
my
fostair
prescriptions have never been a problem before. However, yesterday I found out that my latest request is approved, but on hold until the 8 February. Seems I can now only have them every 30 days. 120/4 does equal 30.

new diagnosis please help
i’ve suffered with asthma from a child & have been on ventolin ,
fostair
and then trimbow of late which all worked for a while . can’t think of anything worse than attending a pulmonary rehabilitation course just the thought is sending my anxiety issues through the roof !!!

Fostair.
He said by the way the surgery has said that Luforbec is the same as
Fostair
. I said to him well I can’t understand why as soon as I went on it I had an attack of Aspergillosis. He said it may be because the components are different.

Struggling to tolerate asthma meds
Has anyone had a bad reaction to
Fostair
or Flutiform? Clenil isn't helping to control my asthma but I can't seem to tolerate the newer stronger preventers. I'm limited to what I can use due to a dairy allergy. Would really appreciate some guidance . Thank you ❤️

Fostair shakiness
I am due to try
Fostair
but in the past one attempt caused my legs to be shaky. I gather this may wear off. Does anyone know is this is the case?

Steroid card Question
My combination inhaler is
fostair
200/6 2 puffs twice a day. I carry a steroid card because I take this inhaler. However when I asked for another steroid card to put with my ventolin from the pharmacy yesterday, the pharmacist told me I don't need one.

Fostair
Hi, I don't often post much on here, but I'm trying to find out if the
Fostair
inhaler causes acid reflux. My husband had mild Asthma and mild COPD. He stopped using his
Fostair
for a few days to test it and had none, but he can't be without his inhaler.

Changing from MDIs to DPIs for the environment
In 2019 I was swapped from Symbicort, a DPI, to
Fostair
, an MDI as I was (and am) very prone to developing oral thrush. It was thought it would be better for me, especially as I can take it with a spacer (as I do consistently).

Fostair
I have been prescribed
Fostair
to help with my COPD. I take two puffs in the morning and two in the evening. I find it makes me light headed and it gives me tremors. The tremors make it difficult for me to drive and for simpler things like holding a cup or knife and fork.

Luforbec.
I’ve been on to the Drs to change me back but evertime I ordered
Fostair
I was sent Luforbec. I’ve been on to the Drs again I’ve spoken to the Asthma nurse and in the end it was decided to put me back on
Fostair
. I’ve ordered this several times and they keep sending Ventolin.
