ADDING TO THE VITAMIN D.
Tomorrow we are off for some quality time with our Daughter, grandson and grandaughter. Travelling for me now gives me no pleasure, but I have to say the special Assistance given at the airports is excellent. Plenty of sun and a change of surroundings are a big bonus when one is feeling pretty rotten

Biphosphonates and oral thrush.
Nine years ago I had 3 years of Ibandronic acid 3 monthly injections. Whilst on them I suffered with blood blistering of the soft palette and down the throat. I also had reoccurring oral thrush. I was also diagnosed with thrush in the gullet. The bone specialist said it was nothing to do with the injections

Advice on adrenal/ dental issues.
I have Hashimotos, PCOS, asthma and estrogen dominance. I have had a saliva cortisol test and have very low cortisol (particularly low in morning). I had dental procedures of amalgam removal (I ingested a significant amount of the filling due to this being poorly removed) and was ill following the procedure

No meds can help - ANY FURTHER OPTIONS - please?
I am now scheduled to start
Forteo
soon - as soon as I get the money together - BUT I have to think ahead. I obviously can never go back on Prolia. Are there any other drugs that treat osteoporosis that anyone knows of? (No HRT - can't take that).

Forteo potential dangers
There is emerging evidence that if you have been on bisphosphanates prior to
Forteo
that not only does it have a higher failure rate but in fact the spine deteriorates in the first 6 months.!

Steroid pump for secondary adrenal insufficiency with traumatic brain injury
Hi. I’m new on this site but I wanted to share my AI stories, answer some questions and hopefully find some more resources to help us with this challenging condition. I’m reading that a lot of people on this site seem to be taking their steroids orally. I too was started on oral medication, dexamethasone

Risedronate (Actonel),raloxifene (Evista) or teriparatide (Forsteo)? Which do I choose? Experiences?
Hi. Currently living in the Netherlands but originally from UK (moved here 4.5 yrs ago). Had results from my 3 yearly DEXA. Spine worsened a bit (-3.3 to -3.6), hip improved (-2.2 to -2.1). I usually run a lot & take Calcium & vit d but a (still healing) metatarsal stress fracture & this result has made
