IF Antibody test back - so what next
Possibly tests for coeliac/chrohns (I have had mostly mild IBS symptoms for some years - have previously tried gluten-free diet and not seen much difference - and followed a
FODMAP
diet with some improvement) 3. Test for Helicobacter pylori to rule that out as cause.

Unfortunately I can't stand most of the low

Let's look at other non-food related causes for IBS...
I looked into the
FODMAP
diet and discovered that yes I was eating many of the foods I should be avoiding. Here is my point- how come I was eating all these foods before and my IBS remained dormant for ages? Stress of course.

I'm trying to start the low
FODMAP
diet tomorrow. Have been buying things today. Haven't found it easy to buy gluten free bread that is not high fibre and does not have honey or apple fibre added.

Bowel Movements - not loose persay - but small pieces - anyone got the same?
I've been on low

SIBO recognised at last
Working with them, I understood pelvic floor muscles and discovered
Fodmap
. During this time I also researched many gastrological functions and conditions. Exasperated with being unable to get to the cause of my condition, I begged the GP to refer me to a gastoenterologist.

I was diagnosed with IBS-D two years and since I've stuck religiously to a low
FODMAP
diet. I recently got a stomach bug and it has made my IBS a lot worse. I'm now struggling to even eat cooked chicken.

Severe IBS - how could I possibly go back to work?
Yes, we are Kiwis, so the Australians are our closest neighbours and hence we obviously heard and practice herr the
FODMAP
diet (it all started in Australia). It didn't work. I needed to eliminate so many things out of my diet that i ended up with only a handful items I could eat.

FODMAP Diet not working for me - what now? Perhaps I don't have IBS?
I have been on the
FODMAP
diet for 5 weeks now under a NHS dietician. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be working for me. I have IBS C and wonder if it is better for those with IBS D.

After trying the

Hi.....
Any way.....I have just started to use the
FODMAP
diet. Only on it a couple of days. I am praying it will help at least with the uncontrollable, unexpected , unable to get to the toilet fast enough. I get no pain. Just some gurgling .....
