I have a bit of saga, just wondered if anyone had similar recently that had any suggestions. For the last 12 weeks I have felt like I have a balloon inflated under my ribs at the bottom of the right side. Not pain necessarily but pressure which is sometimes worse sometimes better. I convinced myself this was a liver/gall bladder problem but I have had bloods & ultrasound and all looks ok. I have suffered from IBS for years and symptoms are bearable. Apart from a couple of severe flare-ups I cope with them ok. I think I am just used to it now! When the doc was performing my ultrasound he mentioned that as everything else looked ok it could be that my ascending colon was bothering me due to the location of the discomfort. Anyone experienced this?
I know there are a couple of posts on this but they are a good few years old.
I am thinking of trying the FODMAP diet to see if I can get some relief - to be honest I will try anything!

I used to have that pain in my right side all the time, now it comes and goes. I think ( in my case )it's wind or poo! Massaging the area to move things up and across my stomach seems to help. It's always worse if I'm constipated. Im IBS c.
I have tried the Fodmap diet for a couple of years doesnt really help me , but I do take elements of the diet into my daily life i.e. no onions, garlic. I only eat sourdough bread and use goats milk and watch my fruit intake.
