Medicines
Hi, just asking if any one has found just taking one 20mg tablet a day that contains Mannitol & lactose monohydrate in medication found that this causes issues if following a low
FODMAP
diet ?

UK Supply of Linaclotide / Constella
(Sorry tmi) I follow a gluten-free, low lactose/
fodmap
diet. That has improved the pain associated with IBS. I still have horrific gas which Constella helps eliminate from my body. So of anyone has any tips on that it would would be great.

Perhaps the organisation can join the modern trend toward moneterising everything and develop a logo for rent like "
FODMAP
Friendly" or Energy Star Rating "Australian Made" or RSPCA We then (somehow) work out a systematic process to qualify doctors to use our logo.

Rotigotine, FODMAP and meditation
My plan of attack is to continue on the
FODMAP
exclusion diet and work out if I have sensitivities to any FODMAPs . I'm also doing a course via a book and CD of meditation: Mindfulness for Health : A practical guide to relieving pain, reducing stress and restoring wellbeing.

Cutting out gluten tips?
She has advised me to alter my diet or basically follow
FODMAP
to ensure it is IBS and not something more sinister. The thing is the whole thing really confuses me.

Help !
Mostly not eating the right stuff (although I am eating some
fodmap
related stuff and generally healthy food) and I appreciate that is making things worse, but everything is making me more and more depressed. I also have bouts of eating nothing all day and then too much at night.

I don't know what else to do... I'm getting no help from the doctors.
He told me to also
FODMAP
diet. I accepted and asked if I could be referred to a gastroenterologist because I was urgent to find the right treatment for me as it has been so severe. He initially refused and said that he will refer me once I've tried out these tablets etc.

Please supply lactose-free Levothyroxine
I think yrs of taking these meds have left me on a strict low-carb/keto
FODMAP
diet to avoid digestive upsets. Is anyone else affected?

Losing who I am to IBS-D
I’ve done low
fodmap
, I’ve done therapy, I’ve done no gluten, eggs or dairy. I exercise when I can and do yoga. I’ve had a colonoscopy, blood tests and stool tests and don’t know where to go next.

Why does lactase enzyme give me diarrhea?
So thinking that lactose free milk will make me feel even better(according to
FODMAP
diet), I got some lactose free milk to drink. Well went to bed a little gassy and then woke up in the morning with cramps and diarrhea right away. Next day same thing.

Feeling frustrated
I’ve been passed back and forth from gynaecology to gastro team, been admitted to SAU several times, had numerous scans, blood tests and examinations and am feeling extremely frustrated 😭 I’m now back on the Sanaya press and following a low
FODMAP
diet which has improved my symptoms ever so slightly

Excessive Burping
I do have SIBO and may have low stomach acid, which I think can cause this as food ferments but weirdly eating a Low
Fodmap
diet has not helped and even a glass of water or peppermint / ginger tea can set me off.

Reversing IBS
For the first few months I was very strict on my
FODMAP
diet and it worked brilliantly, my physical and mental ailments were almost completely gone.

College student with IBSC. Please help
I am also now on low
fodmap
diet. Should I be considered that I haven’t had a bowel movement even from taking this high intensity laxative? As well, has anyone had relief with Linzess? I start taking it tomorrow morning.
