Control and Treatment of SIBO and IBS
If you are on the low
FODMAP
diet, go for all lactose free dairy products to boost your calcium, as unfortunately the diet tends to cut out almost all of the good calcium sources. Second, sort out your fasting periods immediately.

Daughter with IBS
I have been preparing Low
FODMAP
meals but we know that only helps a little. What triggers are the most common for people with IBS?

IBS and Anxiety
Im trying to follow the
FODMAP
diet but I still get pain. Every time, I look at what I've eaten and think "well I'll have to eliminate that food too". But im almost down to bananas, rice and chicken now. My doctor says I should just eat fresh healthy food. But the
FODMAP
site says differently.

Hashimotos/Bloating/Levothyroxine dose
I had previously been advised to go on a low
FODMAP
diet, try peppermint capsules as the dr thought it was IBS. After 3 weeks no improvement. She has upped my medication to 100 and told me to take a mild laxative for the bloating such as Fibrogel.

I genuinely cant do this anymore
I’ve been on a low
FODMAP
diet for a week only and it was really good and then today all of a sudden I’ve been in severe abdominal pain with loose stools. How am I supposed to live my life like this? When I get the pain it’s so awful I’d rather be dead.

Really bad flare up, any advice?
Had first appointment with dietician yesterday, and am to start
fodmap
diet, she thought I would see some benefit. Feel so bad, that to be honest can’t think about it at the moment, but am definitely going to give it a go. My diet is really bland anyway, so not sure what’s set this flare up off.

Hashimotos/Bloating and IBS/Low FODMAP diet
The doctor has asked me to go on a low
FODMAP
diet as she thinks it is IBS. She has also sent me for a blood test to check for Ovarian Cancer . Peppermint oil has also been recommended by her.

Help - ibs-c
I've cut down dairy, gluten and have been strictly following the
FODMAP
diet. I watch food videos all day..I crave and imagine going to a few vegan places I like and gorging on food. And for a more serious part, I've suffered a lot academically because I'm not happy.

PI-IBS & Lactose free milk.
I'm day two of low
fodmap
and have opted to lactose free milk over normal milk as it really messes me up - but as of after eating breakfast I had Diarrhea which is unusual for me as Ive always had more firm BM's than loose my whole life.

Success with iron infusion (sort of)
I have been on the
FODMAP
diet for a long time and I am now allowing myself to be a bit loose with the diet. I ate something with onions and garlic the other night and suffered nothing!

Extremely bloated and constipated!!
I have done the
FODMAP
diet and elimination diet without any luck, we have not been able to find a trigger. In regards to the constipation, he said that I shouldn't be waiting too long and if I wasn't going to the toilet after 3 days that I should take Sodium picosulfate (which he prescribed).

UK Supply of Linaclotide / Constella
(Sorry tmi) I follow a gluten-free, low lactose/
fodmap
diet. That has improved the pain associated with IBS. I still have horrific gas which Constella helps eliminate from my body. So of anyone has any tips on that it would would be great.

Medicines
Hi, just asking if any one has found just taking one 20mg tablet a day that contains Mannitol & lactose monohydrate in medication found that this causes issues if following a low
FODMAP
diet ?

A Doctors List
Perhaps the organisation can join the modern trend toward moneterising everything and develop a logo for rent like "
FODMAP
Friendly" or Energy Star Rating "Australian Made" or RSPCA We then (somehow) work out a systematic process to qualify doctors to use our logo.
