What next for my IBS?
Nothing particular has ever seemed to start these bouts, I tried
FODMAP
when it came out, I keep a food diary, Im veggie and and mainly only drink water or tea. TBH it seems never ending so Im now wondering if its worth trying something totally different, I just don't know what.

Fodmap and travelling
Well, I'm just back from a lovely week visiting my father and stepmother in Cornwall and I thought I'd share my experiences for anyone else travelling. Positives I stayed one night in a Holiday Inn Express and found them excellent, the breakfast had gluten and lactose free options available. We had

Has anyone tried Nortriptyline?
I really need to do something as I live in constant fear I have something serious (despite a clear colonoscopy and gastroscope in 2019), I only eat very limited low
fodmap
foods, live in constant fear of an accident and in general have no life anymore.

The low
FODMAP
diet If you have cut out caffeine, carbonated drinks, spicy or fatty foods, beans, onions and garlic and followed all the other ‘first line’ recommendations and are still experiencing bloating, your doctor may suggest you try the low
FODMAP
diet.

Does Buscopan ease gurgling/growling guts?
I am having such a gurgling and growling digestive system and nothing like low
fodmap
, peppermint or simethicone seem to ease it. I thought that I should give Buscopan another go (just hope I don’t get the numb fingertips again!) and wonder if anyone has used it to settle their gurgling guts?

Feeling desperate now...
I am trying low
FODMAP
, but don't feel any different. My symptoms have got so bad, that I have uncomfortable with bloating all day long, from the moment I wake up til the moment I go to bed, I can be both bloated and hungry.

Low blood pressure
I have been using the
Fodmap
app from Monash and didn't check almonds as I had bought some almond milk and had four drinks using it. The almonds were on the do not have list. Consequently, I felt really bad Thursday with my stomach and very dizzy and spaced out, could not drive or go to work.

Been using the Nerva app - great results!
I've have IBS-D for a few years and which I follow a
FODMAP
diet for (initialised by an NHS dietician). My IBS has never been very severe, but before I started using the app I'd had over a month of multiple bouts of diarrhoea every morning, even whilst following the
FODMAP
diet.

How to stop your IBS Chanel 5 tonight at 7pm reminder.
I told my gut specialist that I felt much better eating food prepared from scratch avoiding most processed foods and he said a

SIBO
I’ve seen a dietitian since July and been in low
fodmap
diet since then but had no relief from bloating. I’ve been diagnosed with SIBO and been taking herbal tablets for 4 weeks now with no easing of symptoms. 😞Anyone else with SIBO, how long did it take for your symptoms to ease Thanks

Low
FODMAP
diet? Imodium? Buscopan? I feel like I’m getting no where and my anxiety is so high to the point it’s making me feel sick. I feel like the doctors can’t take me seriously…

Probiotics /digestive enzymes suggestions?
I'm really struggling, low
fodmap
diet didn't really help, I'm staying off wheat and having a small amount of dairy, trying to watch my fibre intake to see if it helps.

IBS and Cystitis
A while ago I tried the ‘Sweet Cures’ d,mannose powder, with high hopes, but it is obviously a high
FODMAP
as it is a sugar and caused terrible bloating and pain. I feel trapped in a viscous circle and the Dr’s don’t seem to have the answers. So any ideas or advice would be most welcome.

Summary of TV programme about IBS
She was put on Low

Fodmap diet success?
Anyone out there who has had success with the
Fodmap
diet? I've been attempting to follow this for over a month now, I'm not convinced it's helping. I've been using tesco free from white bread, but it smells strongly of yeast.

IBS on Embarrassing bodies Ch5 next Thursday at 7pm
Hi everyone, We have many members with IBS an interest in IBS and the best diet for IBS including the
FODMAP
diet, so this is raising awareness of a debilitating condition and something that requires more understanding.

Have no idea what I have?!
Last March 2020 my digestive system went into freefall, and not being able to see anyone was told I had IBS and I should follow the
FODMAP
diet - did this, gave up gluten (for good) - and nothing changed at all, then in July my symptoms got worse and worse, to the point I lost 2 stones in weight, lost
