Does anyone know if any of the above interfere with levo. I know that some herbs do.

Back from the Doctor's
Update: OK, I'm back from the doctors. She said my breathing sounds ok (my peak flow was 420), but because of the pains in my chest and upper stomach, and the fatigue I've been suffering with this thing, she's put me on a new (to me) anti-biotic called Clarithromycin. The prescription is a 2 week dose

Asthma Attack round 2?
Hey everyone, I took an asthma attack just over 2 weeks ago and it was the scariest experience of my life. For the past few days I have been starting to feel the symptoms coming on again - the tightness in the chest, hot sweats, pains in back, feeling short of breath. I know from my previous experience

How long to recover?
I posted a week ago when I had a chesty cough and peak flow around 300-350 (pb 570). Dr said it was hayfever which caused sinus infection which then caused chest infection. He prescribed antihistamine, nose spray and antibiotics. With a couple of days my pf had gone up to 400 and the thick chesty cough

Chesty cough
For the last week I've been feeling unwell, runny nose, dizzy, achey etc. Steadily my peak flow had been dropping, I've got a chesty cough and I feel constantly short of breath. My pb peak flow is 570 but today I got only 350 but it wasn't really a true measurement as it stays me coughing in trying

Aspergillus Nodule shrinking.
Hello all, Thought I ought to let you know that at my last appointment at the National Aspergillosis Centre at University Hospital of South Manchester,. My X-Ray showed that the nodule found just over a year ago is shrinking even more and is barely noticeable now. Not bad for 10 months on Itraconazole

Confusing spirometry results!
Hey everyone! I know I posted about my case a few weeks ago, but I didn't get very many answers. I have a very confusing case. I show both severe COPD and also a severe restrictive lung dysfunction. Everything in my results points to stage 3 COPD except for my FEV1/FVC ratio. My FEV1/FVC ratio is 113

OT Breast health
I have what my ex used to call 'luxury bumpers'. Recently I decided that whatever the woman in Debenhams said, I didn't seem to be a 34F and went off to Bravissimo, where an amazingly young, and very curvy girlie decided I was 32GG. So I bought some lovely new bras, which were really comfy and supportive

Tight chest, good peak flow and just finished seven day course of prednisilone. I'm a bit confused. Just finished seven day course of pred. Made such a big difference to my breathing. Very tired though as they render me unable to sleep. That last day or so my chest has felt very tight but when I

Empty 2nd sac is there a chance?
Hi, I had a scan at 7+5 as I had some pains and they wanted to check I wasn't ectopic. On the scan there's was on healthy baby with heartbeat and one empty sac next to it which was a bit smaller. They said it was probably a twin that didn't form but they'd check at 12 weeks if anything forms or if not

Am I Missing Something?
Hi All I'm pretty new to this thyroid thing, but I've had asthma for a silly amount of time and have kept a record of my peak flow and medications for years, firstly on paper and then on an Android App. I thought I'd try to find an app that would let me keep a record of my test results, what medication

I've just come back from the GP/Consultant today. I'm pretty angry to say the least-having seen the consultant previously and him saying he's not certain but is thinking I have brittle asthma, he's now saying he doesn't think i'm asthmatic, doesn't have any idea what my presentation is about or what
