Thought I ought to let you know that at my last appointment at the National Aspergillosis Centre at University Hospital of South Manchester,. My X-Ray showed that the nodule found just over a year ago is shrinking even more and is barely noticeable now. Not bad for 10 months on Itraconazole. The nodule was just under 3 cm by about 2 cm back on March 30th last year. I am feeling so much better than I did back then. My. Breathing is so much better with my peak flow getting back to 350, 360. I can go on the long walks I was missing for a couple of years. Must get myself back to the gym now and lose all the weight I have put on - that had nothing to do with the aspergillosis and the nodule and all to do with me eating too much.

So pleased for you. And at exactly the right time (selfishly) to cheer me up. Seems I have the nodules beginning - one is now 1cm. My local respiratory doctors team very kind but I need a specialist. My GP agrees absolutely, which is great, and am getting referred. Am starting antifungals in next few days as well, steroids not having made much impact. Good luck and thank you for posting.
All good to hear. Regaining your quality of life is a terrific result and it is well worth restoring your exercise regimen as it is proven to be beneficial in maintaining your lung function.
