Given up with GPs!
Sue Johnson gave me lots of advice about ferritin levels. In July my level was 7 and I was prescribed Ferrous fumerate 2 x 210mg per day. This stopped my RLS and I was amazed. However after about a month I felt it creeping back. After 3 months I had a new test and it had gone up to 19. The GP said I

Advice on vitamin results please
I did a Thriva (good system)
test
recently for B12, D,
Ferritin
and Folate. Unfortunately folate not available as blood cells burst but the following are my results. I'm not familiar with how Thriva lay to their results table but they all looked good except possibly B12?

Iron levels checked
Had an iron panel completed. 2 important numbers. Ferritin 102, saturation 29 percent. Now what. Dr says both normal. Every test I take, everything comes back normal so why have I had RLS since childhood and at 76 getting 2-3 hours sleep because I have to walk the floors all night and getting worse and

Pregablin
Morning, I'm off my CITALOPRAM and iron infusion raised ferritin to 178.Legs still horrific without pregabalin which is great but at 200mg I'm in a coma for almost 14 hours so working feeling drugged and impacted, I'm only allowed to stay on this for 3 months then they'll ween me off ....but to what

low lymphocytes in blood. High white cells in urine. Should I be worried?
Recently had a letter from rheumatologist saying my lymphocytes are low 0.5. And +++ Leukocytes in urine. As well as low vitamin D & low ferritin. I take Vit D anyway and am on MMF & prednisolone 7mg . Should I be worried? My named rheumatology team are not helpful at all, these results only came

Iron Level UP!
Just had a blood
test
: Serum
Ferritin
339ng/ml! TSat% 36% So where now? Do I need to reduce from 339 to 275 or less? How to do that, cut down on Ferrous Sulphate doses or frequency? Long term I’d like to reduce my medication, <1800mg Gabapentin <100mg Tramadol.

Blood test results
Last week I went back to the doctor for some blood tests to see how I'm getting on with the tablets, I also requested a
ferritin
test
as I am almost intolerant to exercise, always out of breath and always sleepy.

Baclofen and PLMD symptoms
About two months ago I strained my back lifting a swimming pool pump. My PLMD symptoms immediately increased. I began upping my dosage of Baclofen up to 80 mg some nights. My PLMD kept getting worse. My VA Dr ordered a CAT scan, which showed nothing wrong. I met with him after the results came back,

Help with PCOS inositol supplements (trying to conceive!)
Hi all! I've been diagnosed with PCOS in my teens. I had most of the symptoms on the list, no periods, acne, hirsutism, heavy bleeding when periods deign to appear. I lost count of how many different pills I took and had most of their side effects (apart from blood clots thankfully!). It got to a point

Escape from DA Augmentation
Thanks to the support of several contributors to this forum and especially Joolsg, LotteM, and my patient GP, I have been able to plan a route which seems at last to be positive and I feel I should post a note on my current situation. I am 3 months+ since my last DA rotigotine patch and at which point

Could it be MS?
For the last 11 months, I have been experiencing numbness and tingling in both feet. I have noticed when its cold I feel worse. I also have numbness, tingling and weakness on my left side in my hand and lower arm. I had a MRI in April 2023 with no contrast; both came back normal. My symptoms have

Numb hands 😞
Hello, I have been suffering with numb hands at night and during the day for a while. They really hurt at night and wake me up. It seems that it's made worse by laying on my side and not so connected to the position of my wrists. Splints don't make much difference. Has anyone had anything similar and

Just a Ropinerol update
I'm now on 1.5mg from 6mg and starting to struggle. I had my bloods doneand my ferritin level was pretty low, so my GP has started me on iron. I'm also taking magnesium too. I've found having an electric blanket really helpful. It seems to be relaxing to my nerves. I'm starting to jerk a bit now throughout

Getting Desperate!
First time poster here! I'm from North Mississippi and I'm needing advice. I have had RLS since 2010 and once I finally got the meds right after diagnosis, I have had very little issues with it. I first tried gabapentin with no relief, then Mirapex with no relief, then Requip worked like a charm.

A blood
test
this month showed my
ferritin
levels were 100 (Up from 70 nine months ago). My GP has agreed to prescribe Gabapentin (100mg). I prefer to start at this low dose - partly since, for me, Zopiclone has been a reasonably effective sleep aid as long as not taken daily.

Still Looking for Suggestions
It takes months to get an appointment with my doctor to try and get the
test
for my
Ferritin
levels. I requested an iron level blood
test
last October at my annual physical and they didn't include it.

blood test-nutrients advice
Hi everyone! First of all, I have to say thank you. This is my first time posting, but I've been lurking around here for a while now and I have already learnt so much from this forum! I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism in Nov 2021 and put on 25mcg levothyroxine. It has been a slow battle to get doctors
