Advice please - possibly starting stims today - unsure of timings after withdrawal bleed.
Hello All, I’m hoping you wonderful people can offer some advice. This is our first round of IVF, I’ve been on a course of provera for 16 days, finished this on Friday 10th and started light bleeding on Saturday (11th) which is continuing. I’m due to start menopur on CD1 and was advised to wait until

It’s the final countdown!
Hello lovely friends, For the fifth and final time, I’m in the 2 week wait. This is our last transfer. I can only tell you how relieved I am that after 6 years, whatever the outcome, our IVF journey is coming to an end. Whoop whoop 🙌. Sending loads of love and luck to all those in the dreaded hell

hi Ladies, I’m about to start my actual cycle of ivf with donor eggs in a couple of weeks time in Madrid, Spain . I’d love to hear from ladies who have been through this in Spain to understand how the cycle schedule runs I.e. what day in the cycle did they have to go there for sperm donation, did they

alcohol & ttc/ ivf
Hi All, My husband and I have been trying for a couple of years with no success. All tests have come back within range. we are due to start ivf very soon, just waiting for a date but my husband is refusing to cut back on alcohol. He says as his tests were normal, he doesn’t need to change his lifestyle

abnormally fertilised eggs? What’s the chances?
hello all. At our IVF Cycle last year we managed to get 4 embryos to blastocyst stage all a good grade. 3 of these were a normal fertilisation seen by the embryologists, and we have transferred all of these resulting in 2 BFN and one pregnancy, which sadly ended at 10 weeks when the baby’s heartbeat

Extra tests advice
Hi everyone, I’m starting to think about going for my 3rd IVF cycle and considering doing some extra testing first. However, my clinic (who I really like) are not recommending it. So just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience and done something that’s gone on to make a difference? Bit of

Early pregnancy- accidentally twisted- have I harmed my baby :( ?
hey everyone, I am 5 week pregnant after an IVF FET. this afternoon I was driving my little boy and he was screaming because he’d dropped his book - without thinking I stopped and reached round to grab it and give it back to him. Then I realised I probably shouldn’t be twisting around. I’m totally worried

Lost…… 💔
Hello, hope everyone is doing ok. No positive stories from me, just heartbroken & a bit lost as to how to move on. Found out yesterday due to my age (40) our IVF journey is over as no more funding from NHS & we can’t afford to go private. I’ve been left with unexplained infertility & no more help now

Confused about IVF appointments
Hi everyone. I have PCOS so my periods are irregular. I've done clomid and IUIs with no success and am waiting to start NHS IVF. I've had my first 2 appointments (to provide samples for various tests and then to get the results of those tests). I'm confused about the next stage... I was told to call

Still feel sad about pregnancy announcements - is that normal?
Hi, I’m currently almost 33 weeks after a round of IVF and we’re absolutely over the moon and know how lucky we are. In that time I haven’t seen any pregnancy announcement that have upset me at all - usually the ones on Facebook used to make me upset but since being pregnant I’ve been able to just

FET & Acupuncture
Hoping for some advice on acupuncture on FET day. This is my second round of IVF following a failed first round and previous miscarriage at 8 weeks (following 3 years TTC & laproscopy). I have endo & rheumatoid arthritis and have been trying to throw everything at this round as it is our last with NHS

Stressful egg collection and low vibes
Hi all! Just feeling really low after the egg collection from Yesterday and need to vent to someone who understands the feels. My closest folks, mum and husband just don't get it... I had my laparoscopy at the beginning of January and decided to go for the next cycle of semi-stimulated IVF. I had my

Implantation bleeding or period?
Hi guys! So happy to have find this community. I truly need your opinion. I had unprotected sex with my husband from 10 october-16 october, while 14th day was my ovulation day. The night of 25 october, after we had sex I realised a pink to bright brown discharging and it was really worrying for me

2 week wait and work stress
Hello ladies, I’m hoping you can give some reassurance. I’m currently 7 days post a 5 day transfer of two lovely embryos and I’m having a day from hell at work. ( today is my first day back after 6 days holiday) I’ve told my boss everything that’s going on with my ivf and he’s been supportive but

ivf better than icsi for some people?
hi all—would love to hear of anyone who has had better fertilisation results with ivf than icsi. I had my first round late last year and had complete fertilisation failure of 4 mature eggs. The lab and specialist haven’t found anything conclusive but have suggested we use ivf for the next round simply

DNA Fragmentation test?
Hey all, been a while! On our last round of IVF we had zero fertilisation from 8 eggs. Could be egg issue as I have low reserve and cant be sure of egg quality. I’m having extra tests etc. My partner has ‘great sperm all round’. Im wondering if people have been told great speed count etc but then
