Anyone else have Insomnia

Hi guys, recently diagnosed with para AF. Coming to terms with and making a couple of positive lifestyle changes for the better. I'm on bisoporal and Apixaban but finding it very hard to get a goodnight sleep, keep walking and staying awake. Heart Beatrice fine not having an episode. Saw cardiologist last week who gave me 7 days of zopiclone sleeping pills but these knock you for six.

Read the side effects in the leaflets that came with the drugs to see which one is causing the sleep disturbances. Discuss with your GP to see if changing that to a different drug will help. Taking the drug at a different time might help.

I’m on sleep meds cos of my heart condition and if I wasn’t probably wouldn’t ever sleep as at night feel more awake.
