Test results, need advice please
Hi All, I just joined this group. I'm more often on the thyroid group but I just did a blood test to check out my sex hormones as per the advice in Paul Robinson's book 'The Thyroid Patient' manual'. I am post menopausal, age 70 plus. I don't take any HRT currently, just thyroid hormones. Anyway

Nerve pain and insomnia post hysterectomy
Hi, I am only 3 weeks post vaginal hysterectomy and laparoscopic surgery removing everything including cervix. All went well however I’ve been suffering with insomnia and awful what I can only describe as nerve pain….it feels like my skin is crawling and it’s constantly burning and prickling all over

Salmon Protein Hydrolysate
New study below [1]. Anyone here using

Fet cycle high oestrogen
Hi everyone. So I'm in the run up to an FET and had my baseline scan and bloods on Thursday. Turns out I have a 1.8mm cyst and bloods show very high oestrogen. They are keeping me on my down reg for another 2 weeks and then will test again to see if I can continue this cycle. My fresh transfer was cancelled

Hypodensities < 1 cm, dome of liver
Hello, first time poster on this forum. I had a CT Cardiac Calcium Score test done and it came out fine, but it picked up several hypodensities <1 cm in the dome, probably cysts. I have had some discomfort along my rib cage in that area, only when I lay down on my stomach, that I attributed to soreness

FET lining not thick enough?
Hello, I went for my scan today pre-FET and my lining is still at 6.5cm despite being that 1 week ago and upping the estrogen dose between now and then. I have been on estrogen for 3 weeks now and so they don’t think another week will change anything. The doctor said the structure all looks good and

Coping with fibroids
Hi ladies, I have posted before about struggling with fibroids (I have groups of small clusters in my uterine wall) whilst trying to conceive but it’s getting worst and whilst I am waiting to see a gyno specialist (feel like this could be years away and private treatment is way beyond our means) I wondered

Norethisterone
Does anyone use norethisterone as a daily progesterone alongside Oestrogen, to help control bleeding? Bleeding is the bane of my life right now and I would give anything to just not bleed when on HRT. I’m meant to be post menopausal, but since December 2020, I have bled on and off whilst on HRT. I

CFS and RT3 - any advice?
My (utterly pathetic) private endo took 25 mins at £10 per min to diagnose me with CFS this week. I’d already been offered this diagnosis by my equally incompetent GP around 3 years ago. They call it a ‘diagnosis of exclusion’, in other words, they don’t know and if it’s not depression, it must be CFS
