I am from Australia and am new to this site.
I had surgery for Breast Cancer in 2014 followed by Chemo, Radiation and 8 years of estrogen blockers. I recently saw my oncologist after a DEXA scan and she told me I had Osteoporosis and should go on Prolia which was arranged with my GP. I was only told that most people only got mild side effects

Low fertilisation in IVF/any hope of day 2 update?
Hi all, ***tw for high follicle numbers/complaining about getting 3 fertilised eggs*** I had my first egg collection yesterday, after TTC since Aug 2020 with various rounds of clomid/TI/IUI. I'm 31, have a very high AMH and PCOS so my consultant said he expected us to need one cycle to get 'enough embryos

Follicle to egg collection ration
Hello I just wanted to get a vague idea about how many follicles generally result in eggs collected. I was told (well dug) that I had 19 follicles growing on the long protocol and wanted to know how many eggs I should expect to be collected. Apparently the oestrogen levels also correspond to number

Stopping meds - a bit of a worry!
Hey there! I just had a scan this morning at 9 weeks and all looking good and reassuringly to date (I was a few days behind at 6+6). Now my worry has turned to stopping my medication next week. I’m currently on prontogest injections every other day, utrogestan - 2 pessaries twice a day, and oestrogen

Scan today, lining only 7mm
Hey lovelies, So had endo scan to check lining today, it's only 7mm! Really surprised because previously it's been 12mm and 10mm🙄🤔 not sure why this has happened? Anyway they've put me on some estrogen patches, change every other day. Continue with buserelin and estrogen tablets as well. Got another

Has anyone had HRT implants? Would love to know your experience and where you’ve had them done please
Hi ladies, I’m wanting to have Oestrogen and Testosterone implants as I don’t absorb transdermal HRT. It’s my only option left as I have dreadful menopause symptoms since my hysterectomy. As far as I know they’re not available on the NHS so I’m wondering if anyone can recommend a private clinic/hospital

Finally good news on desiccated thyroid (my doctor thinks I might be able to get it on NHS)
Just want to share something positive for once: by accident instead of my usual endocrinologist another consultant in the local NHS hospital called me for the update appointment: I was honest about not responding to the last prescription after 6 weeks (my t3 was lower than before starting medication,

A recent visit to a MD in general practice who was interested in administering injections of Testosterone decided to wait and prescribed DHEA and Pregnenolone and MSM instead. His blood test did show these to be low. Also, in this blood test it showed the hormon estrogen to be low. I am not sure I want

Hi, in February I had a pain in my breast after exercising, on self examination i found a large lump. I thought maybe it was inflamation , after a week there was no improvement and at this point i put it down to a previous cyst re-filling. When I finally got through to the doctors, I was fast to the

Cancelled fet - cyst, oestrogen and thick lining
Hi my babes! I'm back again looking for advice! I'm week 4 or 5 into down reg I'm just waiting on a call to tell me my FET is to be cancelled after this mornings scan - the cyst is still large, my lining is 6.7mm and they think my oestrogen is probably still high. Waiting on bloods to confirm that.

Spotting for the last 4 days with no proper period
Hi All! I haven’t posted in here for a long time but I keep track with all the stories. I sometimes feel I’m drowning in my loneliness but posts in here cheer me up somehow. I’m in my late 40s and after 2 failed cycles, my husband and I decided on DE for the first (and last) time. We had our transfer

High TSH just before embryo transfer day - clinic said it’s fine…
Hi All, I take 50 / 75 mcg of levothyroxine on alternate days and had it checked at my GP on Thursday, before embryo transfer on Monday. It’s been around 1.07 and 1.32 miu/l the last 2 months which was great but after taking oestrogen for 15 days it’s pushed it over to 2.76 miu/l. I had it checked again

I am so out of the loop last few years. You know everything seems to level off and u reach a comfortable place

Flunked out of the clinical trial! I begged to stay on, but the protocol is that with a 1.4 x 1.0 cm lymph node on my paratracheal, SUV 7.5, I have progression and have to try something else. Oncologist dismissed going back on Ibrance after holiday, says that works for few people. (She also said I went
