PMR since Sept 2017
After my original post, I think it was PMRpro that asked for a more indepth description of my journey. I have an appointment in December 2017 with my Rheumy and am wondering what questions I should ask. So here is my journey: February 22, 2017 – Saw Dr Gio for pain behind my clavicle bone he ordered

Essential oils for COPD
Hi My mum has COPD, probably down to her having an autoimmune disease firstly. I want to know how I can try to stop it from getting worse, she has said her coughing is now starting to scare her. Has anyone tried any essential oils in treating this and if they work? Any advice would be great Thanks

Crutches...I know you have one!
So what's your crutch... that one thing you need to hold to not feel crazy? For me... my phone, essential oils, cold water, calming music... must always have within reach! Unhealthy...probably but it gets me through. You?

I get i to an agoraphobic state of mind the moment I get behind the wheel of my car and have to leave town (my comfort zone) I hate highways due to the fear of being trapped and the one time I had a terrible panic attack in traffic on the LIE was PETRIFIED and ever since then I avoid highways or expressways

Some powerful information (and a source) about taking Curcumin for advanced prostate cancer.

Two tidbits to break the morning anxiety cycle
Grounding: Hold and concentrate on the feel of a smooth stone or a piece of ice or something rough or fuzzy--any item that has a distinct texture or temperature. Rub a cold washcloth over your face and body, turn on a fan, sip ice water or boiled water, bite into a lemon, eat a pickle. Smell one or more

I'm new here, I go under the name of Briarowl
I have had
Essential
Thrombocythaemia
for over 3 years which has been controlled by Hydroxicarbonide. I have just been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia. I see the haematologist next week to talk about treatment, but in the meantime I have had my Hydroxy doubled.
