Hello Robyn from Australia.

Good to read about many different issues regarding PD. I was diagnosed 2014 and imediately got two more opinions from two of the top neurologists in the country who gave me the same diagnosis.

I am now about to turn 57 in October.

I was on azelect , sifrol er, and madapar but these drugs made me sick, gain heaps of weight, and I got heaps of side effects that were awful! Like wanting to sleep when in a moving car !!

I am now off all PD meds and just doing natural treatments like essential oils.

I have lost Over 15 kilos yay !!! I have got a bit worse some days with movement but I have been a bit slack with the oils as Ive been so good most of the time and my neurologist is happy with my progress.

I too believe a positive attitude to this disease is the way to go!

Take care all of you ! Keep your chin up! Keep living !!! Life is amazing!

Robyn xx

I am careful to use them as they are meant to be used , some oils are applied topically, others inhaled in a difuser. Others are drank in water. Some need to be diluted in fractionated coconut oil before applying as they are very poerful and can burn skin when you are not used to them at first.

You need to research which oils are best for you.

I have a book called the essential life it covers most illnesses and how to use the oils and which oils are best for what ailments .

Patouli, is good for tremors, put on inside of feet from big toe to heel. There are others too.

Wild orange is absolutly amazing inhaled before bed to stop dreaming it works so good!! I put it on my wrists and breathe it in , a bit under nose too. I used to dream and yell out throw things like bedside lamp around now nothing !!! Yay !!

Yes I have not gone down the med path as yet ... But believe the side effects would only add to my challenge s doing well diagnosed 2 years no worse if anything improved and yes looking at what I still have and can still do life is indeed good

Hello yes Im not sure if I want to ever go back on meds again , I was always sick and my symptoms never completely went away.

Its so good to be able to talk to people traveling the same road.

One medication I was on , sifrol er and azelect together caused me to spend money !!! My neurologist said because im not a gambler by nature it caused me to spend money It was awful! I was going on ebay all the time and i never did that before! As soon as I went off the sifrol er I stopped spending money and my doctor said it was directly from taking sifrol and azelect together!!! Wierd !!
