HiFollowing my last post ( I posted Blue Horizon blood test results whilst waiting for Private Endo blood test results).
Thank you to Slow Dragon for your reply.
I had my Endo appt yesterday and have been started on 25 Microgram Levothyroxine. Will post my blood test results below - the previous Blue Horizon results I posted was a sample taken prior to results below - Blue Horizon sample got caught up in post).
Been told all vitamin levels good but can post results of these too if helpful.
Just started my first tablet this morning - took advice read from here and taken on empty stomach with out food or drink for one hour after.
Has been suggested by Endonto take Zinc & Selinium - have researched on here as much as I can that shouldn't be taken together and no more than 100 of Selinium?
I can't chance Brazil nuts as my Daughter is allergic to them ( has EpiPen for this).
Was also told in full menopause but trialing just thyroid meds first to see if helps symptoms as reluctant to give her as I had a stroke in my 30's - I'm 49 now. I do not take any blood thinning meds.
I am trying to be as gluten free as possible - it is costly!!
I have been vegan approx 16 yrs.
Thankyou for your help - any advice very much appricated - especially around the supplements.

There is no risk of blood clot with transdermal HRT. Only tablet oestrogen is associated with it. So you are OK to use patches, gel or spray HRT. It can be a game changer.

Were they tested? It would help if they were. Zinc and copper should be balanced and we hypos tend to have one high and the other low, so it's best to know if you are supplementing correctly there.
Selenium should be fine at 100mcg, some say 200mcg but no more without testing. Personally I'd stick to the 100mcg if you don't test, just my opinion.

What is "good" to a medical professional isn't necessarily the same as the optimal level we hypos need. It would be a good idea to post your resuts with their reference ranges, if you have Vit D and B12 can you also include the unit of measurement for those please.
Day of cycle Oestradiol <18 (said not detectable) so this means Post Menopausal
Haemoglobin A1c (IFCC) 37 nmol/mol Ref 29-42
No sign of Zinc or Selenium having been tested.
Was told prior to blood test would be also testing for celiac and auto immune conditions but I forgot to follow up on that during consultation (I can email and ask though)
Thank you for the advice te the HRT - I will bring this up at next appointment.
