Too much Gonal F

Hi everyone

I was due to take 375ml of Gonal F. I had 75ml left in one epipen so took this and then stupidly set the second pen to 375ml, not realising until too late. I’m due for another scan tomorrow to see whether I’m ready for my trigger shot and am terrified I have messed this up. Has anyone else been in a similar situation?

how stressful! I would definitely just speak with the nurses about accidently giving yourself too much! Hopefully they will be able to reassure you that all fine - I’m sure it will be fine but worth checking with them. Might just give your follicles an extra boost 🙈 xx

Hi Blush06, it seems there is a bit of grey area/art with these doses, and this is so easy to do, so I wouldn't panic. Just let the nurses know tomorrow and they can see how you are getting on and adjust things if required. There is nothing worse than the panic when you realise you have made a mistake but genuinely it will most likely be fine so don't torture yourself!

Do not worry, there is no harm for such an amount. Just make sure to inform your doctor. Good luck

I did the same. I injected myself the whole pen. I asked my doctor he said its ok. I got three blasts but none implanted.
