Finally after a manometry and
endoscopy
with endo flip and Botox a diagnosis was confirmed. The Botox has not worked.. in fact pain is worse. I have been on a low residue diet which seems to help a bit. It is rare that I have food stuck in throat.. more at the Les.

Endoscopy
I have at last had my
endoscopy
(delayed due to Covid). I went GF for 3 months (ish) while waiting then had gluten for 3 weeks leading up to it (was supposed to be 6 weeks but they got a cancellation and asked me to come in earlier).

Aphthous ulcers
I’ve had lots of scans recently to get to the bottom of it and an
endoscopy
showed my villi had grown back so that was good. Then. yesterday I had a colonoscopy where they found ulcers in my small bowel and ileitis. Has anyone else had his?

Endoscopy and colonoscopy done...
I had an
endoscopy
last week and colonoscopy today and both came out fine. No bleeding. The colonoscopy showed no polyps, no cancer. So now I am wondering what is causing my anemia (had hemoglobin this low twice before, each four years apart).

Final Post Unless Things Change
The consultants advice was to ‘perhaps consider an
Endoscopy
’. But I’ve declined it, I don’t have heartburn, I only get chest pain/breathlessness if I exert myself and had sometimes experienced what I call weird niggles overnight.

So, I saw a specialist yesterday....
So I was referred to a gynaecologist because of heavy periods (they checked fir blood loss by colonoscopy and
endoscopy
but found I wasn’t losing blood that way). She was by far the best of all the specialists I have seen for follow ups since!

Problems after endoscopy
Had an
endoscopy
2 weeks ago, and have been getting intermittent stabbing chest pains. Spoke to Gp this morning who thinks it’s probably my hiatus hernia playing up. Says can happen after
endoscopy
, and can take 2 to 6 weeks to settle down😩. Has anyone else had this?

Hi, My son finally had his
endoscopy
yesterday. The paperwork he had from the consultant said everything looked normal but have to wait for 4 biopsies which is going to take approx 4 weeks. They took repeat bloods. His Ttg level was 57 when he had his last ones in July and had b12 deficiency.

Iron tablets and messed up system!
I’ve had numerous stool tests, scans and an
endoscopy
over the years but had kind of managed to find medication that would ease stomach cramps and bloating etc.

Does anyone have a DX of the rare ‘GAVE Disease’ (gastric antral vascular ectasia) associated with your liver and portal hypertension?
Had an
endoscopy
recently and had an esophageal web removed, along with a dilation to stretch the narrowed area. A biopsy of my stomach revealed GAVE disease or watermelon stomach (not to be confused with Graves).

I'm having an
endoscopy
this week and to prep I've been given a list of foods to avoid for 3 days. Needless to say most of these are what a vegan eats! anyone been through this and found a reasonable list of foods I can eat? So far all I can see to eat is white rice, bread & pasta.
