New Here
Also, for people having multiple symptoms, including acid reflux (I had an
endoscopy
last week which showed nothing concerning), do you find most of these symptoms reduce or resolve when you get to a point that you're on the right level of medication?

After
endoscopy
My doctor said it’s very mild and minimal and that I have to be gluten free lifelong. I was Googling and there are a lot of bad things. Anyone else has this disease and doing good for many years? Thank you Saba

I had my
endoscopy
yesterday to look at what the consultant thought might be a stomach tumour……dr that did the test was 99% sure that it wasn’t…. They took a couple of biopsies and I do have to have another scan of my pancreas and lymph nodes but she was very positive.

Heart problems = adrenal tumour
So it seems they’ve finally found an answer to my ongoing heart and other problems. For the past 21 months, I’ve recurrent episodes of heart-related symptoms: chest pain, tachycardia, palpitations, and one episode of elevated troponin (but no heart attack). These episodes have been accompanied by sky-rocketing

Gurgling guts and excessive wind waking me up at night
I’ve seen 5 gastroenterologists, had a colonoscopy and
endoscopy
in 2019, a ct scan and ultrasound scan also. They all say it’s IBS but I hate that it wakes me from my sleep. I had it last night from approx 2-4am and my tummy is still gurgle and feels gassy.

So my doctor wants to do an upper
endoscopy
on me. What is this procedure like? Preparation? Recovery? Length?

A Fib and Chronic Nausia
I’ve had MRI Pancreas and
Endoscopy
to see if any problems with Stomach or any upper vital organs, all ok which is a relief, hospital doctor put me on Tilden which I’m not sure is agreeing with me, it seems to keep the AF at bay though. Any thoughts on the constant nausea would be appreciated.

Gastropathy
I had on there what my doctor back then 2009 found on my
endoscopy
esophagus normal. It shows chronic superficial gastritis with changes suggestive of reactive gastropathy. Does that mean portal hypertension? I read portal hypertension causes portal hypertension gastropathy

IBS and other gastro problems
I had (yet another)
endoscopy
in April and the only thing that’s there is very mild, chronic oesophagitis and a very mild case of gastritis, along with bile acid reflux. I’ve been on PPIs and Gaviscon for years, but nothing seems to be working anymore.

Gallbladder removal
Had an
endoscopy
in April and it came back with very mild, chronic oesophagitis, very mild gastritis and bile acid reflux. I was told nothing much can be done about these things, apart from meds and diet. I’ve been on PPIs and Gaviscon Advance forever and my diet is now extremely limited.

Taking Synthroid in AM on Empty Stomach Causes Pain
Currently on Synthroid 100 mcgs. I’ve had this problem for nearly two years. Every time I take this medication—empty stomach/mornings—-I immediately suffer Right Flank and Right Back pain. I’ve had multiple endoscopies, colonoscopies and nothing shows up. Also told that I have adequate stomach acid

Stressful
So he is fast tracking a
endoscopy
and biopsy 🙁 You go see the doc for a stubbed toe and end up with lord knows what……think that’s why I’ve avoided the doctors for years. My mum died of pancreatic cancer so I have to admit I’m somewhat anxious

Endoscopy & ectopics
I had a call last week from a gastroenterologist who wants to do an
endoscopy
just to rule out any stomach problems ( not sure why) I am now worried that having this procedure might start up my ectopics again.

Another update on 5th heart surgery….
Ok, well I’ve now been here for almost 2 weeks and hoping to be discharged today. Thought I’d give a bit more of a comprehensive update (although don’t want to scare anyone!) Quite a few problems with various levels (INR, potassium and hemoglobin) which has lead to several blood transfusions and potassium
