Can you please let me know how long you have had to wait for a colonoscopy/endoscopy

I think I waited a couple of months but that was pre-pandemic.

Waiting times vary depending on where you are and how urgent the medical professionals feel it is. They are also longer because of the back log from delayed procedures and because there are inhanced cleaning procedures and room ventilation procedures in place which means that less people can be seen each day.

There's no harm in giving a call and asking. From my experience (I work in the NHS) staff would rather you asked the question than sat and worried. Xx

I waited 2 weeks before covid reared its ugly head..all was clear...I have ibs & Lavertory ani syndrome. My bloating comes and goes I take the appropriate meds but they work sort of .

I'm waiting to see a gastroentorlogist September been waiting 2 mouths already so that's probably the some ish for you unfortunately..speck to your PG, he could speak the them maybe
