A little good news ...............at last.
Rheumatologist has confirmed they have applied for the funding and providing there are no issues I should hear just after Xmas if I can start using
Enbrel
and hopefully this will be "the one" for me.

Fed up !
I'm on
enbrel
now since March this year but I think it may have stopped working as it should . my shoulders have started to become really stiff and painful, my right knee is swelling and I've now got a painful ganglion on my left wrist along with the usual pain and swelling of ra.

Doctor wants to change protacal again and begin biological, either Humira or
Enbrel
. I am resisting because of side effects but beginning to feel defeat and desperately seeking relief from pain. Can anyone hint at what I might expect from switching like this?

RA
Currently taking Methotrexate,
Enbrel
, Folic acid, ranitidine, sulfasalazine, tramadol and last week , was prescribed morphine. However, I am in pain all the time. I have developed severe back pain and struggle to sit, stand or walk for an average of 30 minutes.

Has anyone experienced Glaucoma or autoimmune liver diseases/liver problems with RA medications?
I have been on Humira,
Enbrel
, Oriencia, Remiciade and have had to discontinue use due to a variety of reasons. About a year into the biologics my liver enzymes started rising and they have not been normal for about 2 years.

First Benepali jab after switching from Enbrel
I have read the leaflet that comes with it as its a different type of pen to the
Enbrel
. Apparently you just hold it against your site of choice and press down and wait for two clicks and a yellow plunger to show in the window.

Here I am again !
Of course I had to stop my
Enbrel
injections a couple of weeks before my operation and was on no rheumatoid meds for a total 3 months. I couldn't continue with
Enbrel
because of it's side effects, so I have just had my 3rd injection of Methotrexate and so far, so good.

Benepali versus enbrel - worried?
I have now received a letter from my hospital informing me they are withdrawing
Enbrel
and replacing it with a"biosimilar" benepali to save money.

HRT Patches and thyroid Meds
I started Evorel Conti patches today after having a consultation with a meno specialist - just half a patch until I am brave enough to go a whole one. Have been reading that they may affect my thyroid levels and I might have to tweak my meds. Anyone please?

Hrt & thyroid meds
Post meno 3yrs and starting some evorel patches to see if it will help some of my longstanding symptoms. Will the hrt have an affect on my thyroid meds? ie. will they need tweaking?

methotrexate and enbrel
He was quite keen for me to start taking methotrexate with my
Enbrel
injection but I am reluctant as I have heard of and have a neighbour that had a serious almost life threatening reaction to methotrexate. Just wondered what the community thoughts are on this

Curious
Is there anyone with PBC on a biologic like
Enbrel
? Wondering if it helps stave off PBC.
