Hrt & thyroid meds

Post meno 3yrs and starting some evorel patches to see if it will help some of my longstanding symptoms.

Will the hrt have an affect on my thyroid meds? ie. will they need tweaking?

Beware of the oestrogen as it can binds with thyroid receptors !

I unfortunately had a oestrogen implant which knocked me flat !

Creams and patches probably a better option!

I have the same jefner, and my gp told me when i started using evorel patches, that they resrict the uptake of thyoxine. I have been on them for a month so far.

hi I'm on hrt tablets I take them daily without a break my gp never mentioned that they interact with my levo I take em every morning alongside my levo and never had any problems as of yet

I dr just increased my dosage of progesterone and estriadiol estrogen both bio identical creams and I have been exhausted, fatigued,tired, weak, every since and recently 2 mths later swimmy headed dazed feeling like a inbalance and so spooky that I don't feel like myself .,,,,this all just happened so I just went to get thyroid test done out of pocket...since I cant see dr for weeks...so BEWARE....
