I did read on the internet that

Body tremor
Does anyone know if body tremors can be heart related? Laying in bed last night and just couldn't settle. Recently diagnosed with myocarditis and mild heart failure. Could not seem to settle last night brain just wouldn't switch off. I've been having leg pains so was probably over thinking this but then

Excessive menstrual bleeding
Hi, I'm new here after discovering I had a tight stenosis of my LAD artery last month. A big shock at 46. I had a stent inserted on 26/10/21 and am now on aspirin for life and Clopidogrel for 6 months. My last period was awful - on day 2, I leaked through super plus tampons and a sanitary towel plus

Best time of day for meds??
Is there a best time of the day to take aspirin, HU or an interferon shot?? Just wondering if anyone has found a best time of the day for these, as to be most effective with our circadian body clock. I use to take my aspirin in the evening but I find first thing in the morning, upon waking seems to work

Major surgery with PV
Unfortunately 4 weeks ago I was diagnosed with cancer in my sigmoid colon for which I am due to have an operation on the 29th. I am just a little anxious about undergoing major surgery with pv and wondered if anyone had been through anything similar? I had a venesection this week (before the venesection

Can statins cause diarrhoea?
Following a heart attack in August 2021, I was prescribed Atorvastatin, Ramipril, Asprin, Clopidogrel, Bisoprolol and Lansoprazole. For almost 3 weeks now, I have been suffering from early morning diarrhoea, starting from about 6am. After about 3 bouts, it then stops and I have no more episodes for

Palpitations
I had a small HA nearly 5 years ago and am on Asprin, Remipril, Atorvastatin and Amlodipine. Over the last 10 months I've lost almost three stone (intentionally). I feel as if my internal organs are having a few issues with not having the visceral fat I had for three decades or so! I've had digestive

Chronic back pain and pain relief?
Hi all Looking for some advice re pain killers for awful lower backache. I had a stent fitted in my LAD a year ago and on the usual meds ie Ticagrelor, Atorvastatin, Aspirin. Everything I read it seems I shouldn’t take ibuprofen only paracetamol which doesn’t touch the pain. Been seeing an osteopath

Brilique and breathlessness
When I had my stents fitted about 3 weeks ago they changed my blood thinner from clopidogrel to aspirin and Brilique and have been told I'll remain on both of these for a year. I have been so lucky in that even with my cocktail of tablets I have not suffered any side effects......until now. I am finding

Coated aspirin. Before or after food?
Hi all. As the title says. With coated baby aspirin I have read that it may be better taken first thing in the morning before food as the PH levels in the stomach are low. On the makers instructions they leave it very vague. "Swallow the tablets whole with a glass of water. Do not chew or crush it.

Minoca, 30 yr old male
Dear all, I am not sure if I am doing this right but I need someone to talk to. Anyway,I am 30 yr old male and I was healthy and active throughout my whole life. Never smoked and drinked and ate healthy. Weight was always good except I did get to 100 kgs here and there when I stopped doing sports actively

Tablets
I am absolutely desperate trying to deal with all the tablets. As I have aphobia about swallowing tablets I am managing to swallow Bisoprolol, and Ramipril and take aspirin dispersible. I have to crush Atorvastatin and Clopidogrel and I dread having to take them. It is causing me untold dread each

Hi ladies, We have had a chemical pregnancy in October and when I was young I had a miscarage and an undeveloped pregnancy as well. I remember my doctor back then telling me that I have an issue with blood clots, early miscarage etc. So anyway my doctor now confirmed that I do have this issue and

Recurrent miscarriage tests - All normal! When did NHS offer a hysteroscopy?
I just received an email from the Doctor saying my results are all normal and to go next week for an appointment to discuss my first FET. I don’t know how to take this news. I feel like the problem is still there, just has not been found! I had two miscarriages, one natural and one from my first IVF

When did you start baby aspirin or Eparin injections?
I am waiting to hear from the hospital about the blood tests for recurrent miscarriage, most are anticoagulant blood tests. I have to do frozen transfer in December, when do you usually start taking blood thinners medication before transfer? I am assuming I have to start very soon if needed?

1 year since my Widowmaker update
Hi all, Yesterday I had my final check in with the Cardiology doctors and I’m in great health, my heart is strong, I feel strong and I’m now only taking aspirin and atorvastatin. A far cry from walking into A&E on 16/11/20 and suffering a STEMI which stopped my heart for 90 seconds. I was lucky that
